Overall, I'm Happy with it
It's a good amplifier. Not great, but it has decent features and good frequency range. Is it worth the price? I'm not sure about that.I use this to power an 8" R-F 'Punch'-series subwoofer at 2 ohms, 150-watt rms. To be honest, I was expecting more. Maybe I should've planned for more power and purchased a bigger amp/speaker combo -- but at least it's not worse than the factory sub.Everything about this amp is easy to use and it does the job.The ONLY thing I hate about it is the Power/Ground/Remote connections are all paired on a single, tiny plastic tray that plugs into the amp. It's nerve-racking having the power and ground wires SO close to each other. I used electrical tape to ensure their separation to prevent any sparks if they touch when the road gets bumpy. (Yes, it's secured from moving, but the thought is still the back of my mind.) Maybe R-F can develop a new, more-separated connector for their smaller amps in the future.

Big power in a little package
The picture doesn't really show just how small this amp is... if you are limited on space and just need to drive a single 8" or 10" subwoofer this is a great choice. Measure the area you have to work with and compare that to the listed measurements of the amp before you order, but there's not much smaller than this with decent power.I also purchased the optional remote adjustment knob and mounted that near my stereo and it's very helpful when switching different input sources or types of music. As I was adding this to a stock stereo setup in my 2012 VW GTI with no line level outputs I was able to tap into the rear speaker inputs and use those as the input. The amp turns on automatically with the stereo by sensing the speaker input, and the included low pass filter takes the mid and high frequencies out so just the bass comes through. I'm using this to drive a 10" MB Quart RLP 254 in a very small enclosure and couldn't be happier with the performance, it really fills in the lows that are lacking from the stock speakers. I would definitely buy this model again for any limited space subwoofer installation.

Product good but a few issues..
(First half of review is my 1-star rating, revised in latter half of review) My issue is NOT with the product itself though it has gone bad within the warrantee period. My issue is in dealing with getting the failure addressed. I purchased from Amazon. Amazon was the seller, not a 3rd party thru amazon. Rockford Fosgate will only honor warrantee service to the original seller to whom THEY sold the product and they said that was NOT Amazon. Thru additional research I learned that often Amazon buys from OTHER third parties when they run low on stock. Normally not a problem EXCEPT IF YOU WANT YOU WARRANTEE HONORED!!!. so BEWARE. I've been an Amazon customer for a LONG time and will continue to be, but now I may make some of my larger purchases where I care about the warrantee from other sellers. For example I'm buying some high end camera equipment, I will NOT do that from Amazon, instead using bhphotovideo (very reputable). As for Rockford Fosgate, I'll say that they were very helpful but they just could not honor the warrantee due to how Amazon handled the sale.UPDATED - Soon after (like within an hour) hitting Amazon customer service with my issues again, they offered to replace or refund. I'm revising my rating as a result. I'll repeat that Rockford Fosgate was very helpful and willing to service the unit so they get 5 stars anyway. Units sometimes fail. Just happens. THey handled it nicely, and now can say the same for Amazon. I'm a continuing satisfied customer..

Best Amps Ever
I have one of these running my mids and tweets and then this one running my sub. The amps are slightly bigger than a video game cartridge for a super Nintendo and they never cut out. I ran my 75x4 to my mids and tweets in the middle of summer for a road trip and the thing only cut out once. That's amazing considering the temp was about 100 degrees and I was drawing a bunch of power from it. Adding this sub amp was the best hundred bucks you can spend.

RF got it right!!
Talk about the little amp that could!!! It doesn't get too hot. I can still touch it with my hand after running strong for over 30 minutes straight. It's small enough that I have it hidden. You wouldn't believe this little guy is providing the power to shake the hell out of my SUV!! I have it matched with a Kicker 10" CVT box (another amazingly compact component). If you know this match-up, you know that I'm only pushing half the power yet.Is it worth getting? HELL YES!!
