This gel UV light works. However, you have to have your hands under the UV light arch. If you push your nails all the way to the front, they aren’t exposed to the UV arched pattern the light puts off. You can see the arched pattern on the surface the light sits. Just look inside but not directly into the lights themselves. The other thing everyone should know is all gel polish, in my experience and basecoats have a 10% residual. You don’t need to wipe the residual off the basecoat, or the different coats but, you will need to wipe the residual when you put on your final topcoat. Best way to do that is just use alcohol and a paper towel or cloth pad. I have used this light with poly gel, hard gel, structure gel, and of course, gel polish, regardless of the namebrand. I am a licensed technician and I have one light to the left and right of my clients. They cure the four nails and then the one thumb. Works beautifully! A lot of the bigger lights miss the outer edge of the thumb because of how your thumb rests inside the light. Hopefully this helps everyone!

PRO: The reduction in the amount of time it takes to cure gel polish using this nail lamp compares to other combo uv/led lamps makes this worth every penny.CON: this is a travel size lamp so it is small & can only fit 4 fingers at a time which is not ideal but with the amount of time it takes to cure your polish you can do your thumb nail separately & still have saved time vs using a combo uv/led lamp.Pro outweighs the ConI would definitely recommend this lamp to anyone who is looking to speed up the gel manicure process.

The media could not be loaded. I thought that because it was Gelish, it would work for me. It is very small, it is not ergonomic, it is impossible to put the whole hand in. I was very unhappy with the result, I applied the products as indicated and here is a sample of the results.1. When applying the Foundation it remains sticky even if you give it more time than indicated.2. When applying the color it is the same, perhaps worse… No matter how much time I gave it waiting for it to dry, it never happened.

This is a great nail light ! It is the perfect size and not to intimidating for doing your nails at home .

I bought this in hopes it would work since I do hair and redo my gels every few days. I had the bigger one but my dog chewed the cord so I gave this a shot. I tried it and my gels started coming loose same day. Such a bummer. I went ahead and paid the extra money and bought the big one from the website and it’s worth every penny. This one would be good for travel in a pinch or someone with very small hands. Not if you want them to last, unfortunately.

So much smaller than I expected. However, it works well. I can not fit my whole hand under it at one time. I have to hold the light in the air with my other hand or only put 2 or 3 fingers under at a time. Not ideal. But if it's for a kid or someone with small hands. It works. My gel polish dried just fine.

The lamp works perfect, so easy to use and storage as is very small. Super happy with my purchase.

Waste of money. Barely drys a thing. Left with UNDRIED poly gel multiple times. All light, not heat....Have to buy ANOTHER/ higher quality one.
