Way too small
I measure between 11.5 and 12.0. Because this shoe was listed as "true to size" I ordered it in size 12.5, just to be sure. It might be a great shoe, but I could barely get my foot into the shoe. It was way too narrow and a touch short. The vendor also charges $5.79 for return shipping. Since it did not run true to size I think they should pay for return shipping, but it's not worth the fight. If you have a narrow foot and order a little oversized, maybe these will fit you. The company should change the listing that says "true to size."

Great shoe. Tight fit.
The quality of this shoe is great and matches or exceeds what you would find on other brands in this market segment. Great stitching, quality materials, and nice and stiff. Not quite as still as Free Rider Pros but close. The tread pattern works great for gripping platform pedals and the slightly less sticky material works great for riders like me who move their foot around a lot. 3 days of DH so far and zero slipped pedals. Not for the down side. If you have a wide foot you should avoid these at all cost! I'm normally an 11.5 in street shoes and for riding I move up to a 12. When the pair of size 12 arrived I could not loosen the laces enough to allow my foot sit flat. Despite there being plenty of room in the length my foot remained slightly cupped. I tried wearing them around the house for an hour to break them in but it was excruciating. Retuned the12s at a cost of $6 for shipping and ordered a pair of size 12.5. This time they were a bit long. The width was better but still needed to loosen the laces all the way to even be able to fit my foot in. I figured I'd break them in and they would be fine. I have worn these for a total of about 12 hours on and off the trail and after every ride my feet are killing me. I really wanted to like these. But I can't stomach another ride in them. Every pedal stroke hurts.I'm going to clean these up and post them for sale locally at a big loss. I already have a pair of size 12 Freerider Pros on the way.

Narrow build
Was so very disappointed when the shoe did not fit. I wear a size 10 1/2 US and ordered an 11US and it felt like a 10US...Much narrower than a regular sport shoe... I recommend the shoes if you have a narrow foot if you have a wide foot you may want to order one or two sizes larger...As far as the quality of the shoe it is excellent and again I was so disappointed when they didn’t fit and then read a few reviews of how even at 12US was too tight on a guy that wore an 11US..... so unfortunately I’m still shopping hope this helps anyone interested in these killer RC flats.

Impressive
I've been trying a lot of flat pedal shoes and knew RC made good stuff. Excellent grip, good stiffness (for me a bit more would be perfect), and comfortable. These are true to the size chart but I found I liked a half size up better. These are definitely not very breathable (minus one star) but you can probably do some modification (fabric hole punch) to get better air flow if that is a big concern. For cool weather... perfect! Great value. These are certainly not of the same caliber as freerider pros but fot the price...great. The heel feels a little shallow but I don't notice it when riding. These definitely loosen up after a few rides so don't let the snug fit put you off. Changing the way it is laced also opens up the shoes. Personally I could tell no sole difference (stifness) between the hellion and these. They really should make a stiffer more breathable version for people that ride long distances in warm weather.

Comfort and Performance Out of the Box
I have 5 rides (~50 miles) with the size 10 black/grey shoes I ordered/received as expected from RC. Fit is true to size, and knowing every foot is unique (I have high arches as example) the shoe has been very comfortable thus far. The sole is stiff and provides good pedal grip, and don't show any signs of wear/damage...my RaceFace Affect pedals have pretty aggressive pins. Upper materials breath well, but be aware stream crossings will result in wet/damp feet...to be expected, as RC does not claim these to be "waterproof."Lastly, I believe these are a good looking shoe, and they looked as illustrated from on line pictures.Overall I am very happy with the quality and performance thus far, and I have recommended these to friends.

FANTASTIC. Updated review….
Super happy with these. Very comfortable, sticky on the pedals (built not so much you can’t adjust your foot), and very stiff sole. SO much less foot, ankle, and leg fatigue while bombing down the mountain all day. I usually wear size 12 and my friend suggested 12 1/2 and I’m happy i did. 12 would have been too small. Nice wide tow box as well! Will buy again for sure. My buddy also said these last WAY longer than the ubiquitous FiveTen shoes.UPDATE- I’ve been pounding the HELL out of these shoes for about 7 months (see photos) including lots of bike park riding at big bear. They show hardly any wear at ALL. I’m so happy with these I just bought a second pair in case one is muddy or wet. Absolutely a confidence inspiring shoe to launch big jumps.

Better than their competitors
Awesome shoes! Arrived early and fit perfectly. Super comfortable and perfect for the design of mountainbiking! I think they’re better than five tens.

As comfortable as a MTB Bike shoe is suppose to be
They are my first biking shoes, so I'm just talking from my inexperienced perspective. I fell the fit perfectly, but still not for walking nor going about your day with them. I tried in a spinning class and were ok. Mostly use it with my Mountain Bike, starting in it, and they are just perfect. They are not for clipping, still really comfortable when riding, just where they are supose to be comfortable. Price is just on the range. They look good, at least you look the MTB part.
