I bought this for my 8 year old son. He’s been wanting a handheld game device but isn’t very careful so I wanted something less expensive to see how he would handle it. This is a great little device, has so many games to choose from. I even have fun playing while he’s at school sometimes. I bought this one because you can save your game progress, it’s a bit tricky but it can be done. I’m not sure if you have to add an sd card but I did. You click the power button to get to the game menu, go to instant archive and click save. When you go back to the game later you click the power button to get to the menu again, go to instant archive and then scroll over and it says load, click and you are back to where you left off. The volume is pretty loud even at the lowest setting, and sometimes when it’s off I can’t get it to turn back on. Some of the games are glitchy but there are so many to choose from you can just skip those. The battery lasts for a few hours and charges quickly. Overall I would purchase this again.

This is overpriced for how cheaply made it is. The buttons are hard to press and loud. It freezes and lags every few minutes. The volume on the lowest setting is too loud. The instructions are badly translated into English and dont give much information (like how to even turn it on). And it is falsely advertised at having 3000 built in games. Its much much less than that.EDIT...none of the games are able to be saved. All progress is lost after leaving a game. Saving does not work.

Battery life is short so just rest it on the paper roll and charge it. Many games don't load but depending on time spent in the Outhouse, it's a good buy.

Great game selection but battery life is not great pretty much need to keep plugged in to play long times or esle have charge alot

For some reason this isn't holding a charge is there a certain charging voltage I need for this to charge properly please let me know.

It has some great games. My favorites are the castlevania games. It has vector man All the Mario games you can think of. It is a great system. I really enjoy playing the games on this device. A lot of classic games.

This order gets a 3/5 star rating as the item does work, but has some issues. I ordered this in hopes in playing some retro games. The size is great and easy to use, I just couldn't get past 2 things. 1) the power button is buggy and 9/10 times will result in the device reseting instead of powering off. This is confusing since there's a reset button.2) Lag, yes the lag you get when playing a GBA game. I couldn't imagine playing a heavier game on it when it lags on GBA Pokémon game. Unfortunately, this is resulting in me returning the device and moving on to try another product.
