I ordered one like this and it was rubbish. I was fishing for keys that my toddler threw into our fountain in the garden (about 4 feet deep) and it didn’t find anything and finally it just broke off. I read lots of confusing (and many likely fake) reviews and finally settled on this magnet. It worked on the first try. It magnetised to the keys within just a few dips and pulled them up. Excellent magnet.

This was my first go at magnet fishing.The strength of this magnet is pretty amazing.As far as I can tell if you can physically pull it out of the water then this magnet will do just that.Rope is more than upto the job, the gloves are ok but your hands will still get soaked so probably best to buy full rubber ones.Had alot of fun with this, good pass time on summer evenings 👍

My grandson is 7 and loves watching magnet fishing on ipad he is over the moon now he has his own in all weather goes pond river stream etc with his dad who just got same set . Good quality

This is an awesome starter kit for anyone looking to get it to magnet fishing.The rope is a good lengthMagnet is great for the price but do not expect to get anything huge out east that what the grappler is for.glove again good the money but only lasted 3-day trips out and are not waterproofmagnet is still going after a year of use but I have now gone for a "big boys toy" one with the wife disapproval

My boy asked for this. But he has never used it.. kit seems nice and sturdy .well made and good value.
