Growing up on the east coast we used to ask for “jimmies” on our ice cream cone at Friendly’s and Brighams. You could either get the chocolate jimmies or the rainbow mix. It’s hard to describe the taste of rainbow mix sprinkles, but I was longing for some sprinkles that would remind me of the stuff we used to get when I was a child. These are definitely those sprinkles. They have a nice soft creamy consistency to them and pretty much taste like confectionary sugar. They are not super sweet but they add just the right texture to your ice cream. I will have to admit that sometimes I just eat them plain though.If you did not grow up eating these, you might wonder what all the fuss is about. The chocolate ones have a more realistic flavor to them, although I prefer the ones from Denmark that are made from real chocolate if I’m going to eat chocolate sprinkles. But the fruity ones from Denmark taste like crushed up fruit loops - yuck.I thought it was kind of crazy to buy six pounds of these things but I’m now thinking I’ll be through these things in less than 2 months. So much for my diet. Get these sprinkles. They taste great and you can’t beat the price for a six pound container.

I never knew there were so many people who cared so much about sprinkles until I went to buy a bunch and read some reviews. Every kind I looked at at mostly good but also some scathing reviews which somewhat worried me. I must say, after receiving these, I have nothing but good words. Yes, there are purple and blue (a few people asked about that in the questions and there were both yesses and nos). These are the 'soft' sprinkles, though admittedly I did not know what that meant when I ordered them. They are the traditional sprinkles one would probably get at a ice cream joint. Love em, taste great, got a while bunch, would buy again!

I know the description clearly states the size but I guess I wasn’t expecting a Costco size box of chocolate sprinkles! My kids are in heaven-sprinkles in everything!! These are actually very delightful and when I run out in 5 years I would definitely buy more! Probably be perfect for a baking class or a classroom party. They melt really well too-we put some on strawberries and they were amazing. I’m a fan!

These are way better than store bought! They actually have a flavor to them! Very vibrant color and 6 pounds is way more than you are imagining! 6 pounds is a large amount of Jimmies or Sprinkles call them what you want, but isn't enough. I mean 12 pounds would have been better. You can never have to many sprinkles. This package was a dream come true. I wish I could have ordered 10 cartons of these so I had enough to last 6 months. But sadly I will have to order them one at a time due to space constraints. They should have these in auto renewal and just ship me out 6 pounds bi-weekly.Now that would be nice.

I liked that these actually taste like cocoa. They didn't taste artificial at all. So thrilled that I found these, abd a fabulous price!!

You may be wondering what will you do with 6lbs of sprinkles. My six-year-old was up for the challenge. These sprinkles have good consistency and a nice flavor. Just what you’d expect from a good rainbow sprinkle. Would definitely purchase again!

I’m very fussy about my sprinkles. These are the crunchy, creamy, perfect kind like you get at the mom and pop ice cream shop! And plenty of them. I go through two packs a year and keep reordering. Enjoy! They’re the classic great sprinkles!

We love the Betty Crocker ones and were scared these wouldn’t taste the same. Took a chance and glad we did!
