This book has been a huge tool for me to help my son go to preschool. We make jokes that his teacher is a zebra! WHAT!!! or that he might have a sheep in his class today. It's very empathetic, non-shaming but also very encouraging to go and have fun. It's been a great book for us, we read it every time we leave for preschool and it seems to really help his emotions.

This book has really helped prep my son for preschool. He is 2-months out from starting but he is SO EXCITED after reading this book. It was a nice reminder that there are friends, food, and fun at school as well as learning new things. We went to visit a few preschools to find the right fit and brought him with us. He was ready for us to drop him off that day because he knew we would be back.

Cute book per usual, didn’t realize it wasn’t a cardboard one, it has paper pages. We love llama llama

My kid was having a lot of fear that we wouldn't come back after school and was struggling with drop off. Reading this helped him talk about that fear and gave him a phrase to remind himself we would always come back!

Was given to my granddaughter for a Easter present. She loves Llama Llama.

My Granddaughter was having a real hard time with being left at daycare. She was use to being with mom all day. But Mom had to go back to work. I found this book and it was perfect. She helped her so much to find out llama llama was going through the same feelings as she was, and in the end he loved school.She now has grown to love daycare and I really believe this book helped with that Tremendously.Definitely recommend

A fun book to read to children.

My little boy started preschool and when he realised he was being left without me the next 4 sessions were horrendous! I found this book and it was an instant changer! He loves the rhyme and story and definitely related to the llama instantly. He started repeating mama always comes back and this is what he says now when he, happily, goes into school. A message that has stayed with him. One of the more expensive books I've ever bought him but definitely been worth it.

Perfect book for a toddler who is just starting daycare. My little guy was very sad every day but now he tells me that mama llama will come back and seems much happier.

This is an adorable book! It rhymes and is the perfect length. My son loves it!

This book worked like a magic. My little one started nursery and she was crying every day at the drop off. When the book arrived, we read it like 6 times. She was so compassionate with little llama and next day she was crying only a bit at home and from second day on, she didn’t cry anymore. She understood that mama always comes back! We still read the book when returning to nursery after long time at home, and it helps immediately. I recommend it to all my friends.

This has been a really good tool in helping my son transition to nursery school (and out of our direct care of the first time!) I think the story is great because it doesn’t make nursery out to be the best place in the whole world where he must have fun and focuses on how he is feeling. Really love it and it has made a real difference.
