It's heavy. It's so thick that you need to be careful taking it off because it makes you squeeze it and the drone pretty hard. Getting it on is simple, it's the getting it off. If you aren't careful you will bust your gimble getting it off no joke! It's way over built and heavy. It would be great if they just made it about half as thin, it would be much easier to take off

I’ve recently had to replace the gimbal because of a crash. Although it looks like this may pop off in a crash, it does give piece of mind knowing it may help absorb some of the impact and prevent another $250 gimbal replacement. Works great when camera is in front but shows in video when camera is aimed at the side.

This gimble shield is well worth the money. By accident, and lack of paying attention, I flew my Mavic Air 2 into a Bradford Pear tree at a pretty decent speed. I can truly say that this guard saved my drone. Fits a little tight but I have had no problem taking it on and off and feel very secure with it being attached. I do not have to worry about it coming off during flight.

I had moved away from my home point with my MA2 when because of low battery I decided to land, however as it was landing return to home kicked in and the drone rose straight up into some tree branches and then dropped crashing about 10 feet to the concrete. The lens hood shattered but my gimbal and camera were well protected! Lens hood was great investment. I’m ordering replacement today.

I'm no photography expert but this sun shade does cut down on glare and makes my pictures and videos better. The shade attaches very securely to the drone and doesn't interfere with gimbal movement, (although it does appear in some pictures when the camera is pointed to one side or the other). I don't think you can really go wrong with this item, given the price.

It is simply too hard to put on and take off. Ine slip up and you could damage the camera
