Hugely Improved The Quality of My VR Experience
If you've ever used the Oculus Quest with its original head strap, then you've probably noticed that it really digs into the back of your head. In fact, after using the Oculus for as little as 30 minutes at a time, many people complain of headaches and soreness. With the original head strap, I found that the amount of tension needed to keep the Oculus from sliding around almost immediately gave me a pressure headache. (Because I wear glasses, I have to keep the Oculus extra stable to avoid knocking my glasses askew while I play). This halo head strap immediately solved all of my discomfort! The band fit neatly around my head, with the bottom of the halo resting perfectly against my occipital node (the spot right below the curve at the back of your skull). This little change in the position of the straps allowed the Oculus to more naturally distribute the weight around my whole head, meaning that the bands didn't need to be as tight to keep the device from shifting.Installation was not so easy. The instructions that came with the Esimen head strap was very vague on removal of the original Oculus straps, and I had to look around for a while on YouTube to figure it out. As it turns out, the removal process is actually very straightforward, it just takes some force to get the straps to slide in or out of the metal loops that hold them in place. By contrast, once the original strap were out, installing the new Esimen halo was a breeze! The plastic clips at the front of the headband slide easily onto the metal loops that the original elastic used, clipping onto the headset without the need for screws and without having the thread the elastic (the top band still needs to be threaded into the frame, but it is nowhere near as difficult as the elastic side straps of the original head band). The plastic shell of the halo is a soft-touch plastic that is pleasing against the skin, and the elastic feels durable and high quality. The quick-adjustment know was the real MVP, though. With the original Oculus Quest head straps, I would have to adjust the velcro every time I put on the headset, and even sometimes during a VR session if I was being particularly athletic. By contrast, the adjustment knob of the Esimen Adjustable Head Strap easily keeps the straps at the correct setting. Plus, if it ever felt too tight or too lose, I could quickly reach up and turn the clicky dial one way or the other, a movement so simple that it was easy to do without removing the headset.Unfortunately, one problem that they haven't solved is the volume of the adjustment knob. The know ratchets somewhat loudly when turning, which is echoed through the hard plastic shell of the halo. While not deafening, the noise was definitely loud enough to break the immersive experience whenever I did have to make an adjustment. This problem is made worse by the one other major flaw in this design: to remove the headset, you have to loosen the halo (especially if you wear glasses). The side straps of the halo have a very small amount of give to help with the comfort of tightening the straps. However, they cannot extend far enough to easily pass over a pair of glasses (or a strong forehead), which means I had to loosen the adjustment knob any time I had to take off the headset. Because of the ease of adjustment, this wasn't really a major problem (in fact, it very quickly became an almost automatic routine), but it does compound the issue of the ratcheting noise created by the adjustment knob.Pros: - GREATLY increases comfort while wearing the headset. - Allows prolonged play-time by reducing headaches and muscle fatigue. - Quick adjustment makes it feel easy and natural to tighten/loosen the headset while playing. - Makes it easy to share the headset without needing to reset the velcro.Cons: - Installation instructions don't clearly explain how to remove the original Oculus straps. - Doesn't fold down, which makes it hard to fit the Oculus in a carry case when traveling. - Adjustment knob is loud. - Cannot remove the headset without loosening the halo.Overall, I highly recommend this product!

Good hold, easy to install.
Works a little bit like an adjustable hard had. Fit to face, crank the tension knob on the back and it stays in place very well.I work out with beat saber, super natural and fight almost every morning. I love that this can quickly adjust and toghten down. It can also be adjusted to not so tight if you don't want it too tight, which my wife loves.

Oculus Quest 2 Compatible
Took a gamble and bought one for my Quest 2 because the original ones are out of stock for another month and it fits like a glove. I like the lip under the back of your head too because it adds a little more stability to the headset. I thought the knob was a little loud at first but when I have headphones on its pretty faint and I don’t really think it’s even an issue. Love how it came with replacement foam too for the sweaty bois.

Not quite what I had hoped for
I was hoping for this to give my Oculus Quest a better fit than the original strap, but this isn't quite what I had hoped for. I have a petite face, and this strap fits too big on me, and doesn't relieve the headset weight across my cheekbones as I had hoped. I had to really adjust the strap to fit extra tight, and after only 30 minutes of use, my cheekbones looked blue from the pressure. A good item for those who can get a better fit than I did.

Bad ear interaction, good head craddle
This product out of the box comes with 2 exchangable pads that use velcro to sit in place. The ear interaction/ clearance is terrible however. If you play games like Beat saber or super hot, buy a different aftermarket head rest since this one chafes at the top of your ears. After playing for 10 minutes you have to decide whether to use the head rest at the top of your head to allow clearance for your ears but risk the headset falling off your face or sacrifice you ear pain for a more sturdy hold to your face. I personally use it for vrchat in the first orientation, but there is no looking straight down for anything anymore. Hopefully this review helped.

SO MUCH BETTER!
Original was front heavy, and even with battery pack on the back, still felt very awkward. NOW, form fitting to any head size from my 13 year old, to my wife 5'4, to me 6'5 (BIG HEAD). Balance is great, and comfort is fantastic. Wish it had a better PVC on the foam padding on the back for easier cleaning, but this is a SMALL issue. GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK! Allows you to play for HOURS!

Works perfectly with my Oculus Quest 2
After hearing a lot of bad reviews of the official Oculus head strap I figured I would give this one a try. It doesn't say it's for the Quest 2 but it fits perfectly and is a huge upgrade from the original stock one that came with it. Perfect fit every time, easy to take on and off, and very comfortable.

Good buy for replacement but I prefer the original.
It is a good buy if you need to replace the straps since there is not much out there. But the hard plastic on the side strap hurts your ears if your stick out a little. Issues placing a regular headset over it also since they have hard straps unlike the original straps. Also that back hard casing is great for protection but you cannot fit it in the original oculus quest case. Also if you look up it slips up your head to not cup the back of the head for great comfort.

Good addition to quest gameplay
Purchased after a few days with the quest without it, and it makes a huge difference in use. It was easy to attach to the headset and adjust. I also got a silicon mask and the two together greatly improve the comfort for long sweaty sessions.
