Easy to set up and use gives great lighting and durable

I use this for a chess board. It does what it needs to do.

I have stalled them over artworks and since brightness could be adjusted and adjusted the lighting and the display is perfect.

This is a great reading light, but it's not ideal for illuminating a piece of art/decoration/etc.First, if the light is on, and you disconnect the power, and reconnect it -- the light stays OFF. It does not automatically turn back on. For some people this will be fine, for others it might be a big hassle.Second, The light angle is very broad and diffused; it does not project in more of a spotlight/cone shape.

Quite versatile with the goose neck and the 10 level dimmer. The light at its dimmest is quite easy on the on the surface. I got this to reduce the reflection off the bed/wall I was getting from an earlier bed light. I can turn the light to point to the ceiling and the TV doesn't have any reflection!! So a mainly dark room with mild lighting is what I can achieve with this light. The two in the pack is great as I could add one to each side of the bed. I like the blue light from the switch when the light is off, it helps in the dark.

I had to buy aftermarket usb extension cords because this unit's cord is too short to reach from the head of my RV murphy bed to where the USB plug is at the base of the bed. I don't want to use the 120v adapter because at night, an RV is not supposed to have its noisy power generator running, so I want to use the DC/USB outlets.Also, this unit is fairly heavy both light and base so it is 'top/bottom' heavy, so you will HAVE to mount the base with screws into a wall or table top to keep it from falling over. I doubt using adhesive tape or velcro will work for very long. It requires a permanent screw in installation, so get ready to drill holes.Its operation control panel works fine, but I can't just prop it up because it keeps falling over. I need to mount it now, more holes, more screws. And I had to buy extension USB cords.

I didn't these were on at first, but the light just isn't very bright. Also, the arm holding the lights is not stiff enough to hold position, so they just sag rather than stay where you adjust them. I think there are better products out there. Unfortunately, they are probably going to cost more.
