Unisex-Child On-it Lace-up Sneaker

Just got these for my child. She loves them - but let me get to what you want to know.First, the soles are rubber and the tread is extremely grippy - to use a mountain bike term. They adhere great to deep carpet, yet are soft enough for running up and down wooden stairs. This translates to outside where running up and down both grassy hills and rocky paths (we have both) can be done with plenty of traction in both directions.The uppers breathe well; the arch support and mid-sole are substantial and comfortable. These are lace-up shoes and as any parent knows, the key to these things is to teach/make sure they are laced up properly.They are heavier than "kids running shoes" and there's a great reason for this. the sole is all rubber - not the exposed EVA you may find on other shoes. Heels have extra rubber to provide additional stability when running and walking.These are for play, not so much for sports. Missing is the ankle support for things like basketball, nor are there the kinds of cleats you would expect for a soccer shoe. Where they excel is in the afternoon play with friends running around the creek, climbing trees, exploring, game of tag . . . you get the idea.The fit is pretty spot on for my child. It flexes well (not as easy as a lighter/weaker shoe) and doesn't hurt at the end of the day.From riding a bike to hide-and-seek, this shoe from Sketchers is a great shoe. I'll likely buy another pair in a larger size for when she outgrows this pair.Hopefully this review helps.

Shoe was beautiful and in line with Skechers. I thought the sizing was a little off because I bought a half size bigger than current Skechers and it came in as same size as current one instead of half size bigger. Maybe it’s just this type of Skechers.

My near 7 yo is in 12 so I ordered a 1For the coming school year. The 1 had a little room to grow but I know how fast kids feet tend to grow so I returned them for 1.5. They definitely run a size smaller than allshoes we are used to. I love the traction on these. There is a lot of grip. I also adore the colors. They’re so bright and beautiful. The photo does not do them justice.

I bought these for my five year old who is wearing 13s currently. They seem wide enough for her feet (she has my hobbit feet) and the toe box seems roomy. I wish these were velcro but we need to work on teaching her to tie her shoes anyway. They seem slightly sturdier than I would expect at this price point but only time will tell. She absolutely adores the bright pink.

They are great my daughter absolutely loves them, couldn't really do much but try them on because it was a rainy day. I wasn't sure what size my daughter would fit since she has a wide foot and it said medium?. so I was hesitant on getting a 1 so I ordered a 2 and it's 1 whole size too big but she's still growing fast. It's a great buy for the price and excellent material so if you're hesitant do it because your little love will adore them

Durable in PE for a 7 year old and super comfy !

The color came as what was shown. My five year old freaked out when she opened the box because she loved them so much. She says they are very comfortable and when she runs they do not hurt. They also do not rub the back of her foot like a lot of other little kid sneakers do. She has loved them! She’s worn them hiking (on a trail with dirt and some rocks) running, and at school. We thought they were a great price for how nice and sturdy they look. Thank you for the great product!

My daughter adores these shoes. Even brand new they don't give her blisters or irritate her ankles. They seem very solid and well made. She even keeps them on in the house just to walk around. She's normally barefoot so I assume these must be super comfortable.
