I originally purchased this item for the sole purpose of straightening my stubborn beard hair...after filtering thru the countless similar offerings on Amazon, I selected this one and hit the jackpot!!! For it's $19.99 price tag I am totally Impressed with this item, it straightens my beard hair superbly, and also the hair on my head! My wife tried it out on her loooong hair just once, and now it's her favorite hair styling device. She quit using all her other styling tools and now only uses this straightener, she loves it because its easier and faster to use, and works better too!!!This thing is built right, it has a swiveling 6 foot long tangle free round power cord, an easy to read led display, and a sensitive switch. I timed how long it took to get to max temp (430°F) from a cold start, which surprisingly only took 2-1/2 minutes! The handle stays cool to the touch while in use, and it has a safety shut off if you forget to unplug it. This kit also came with a nice wooden beard comb and a small pair of scissors, along with a nice storage bag to fit everything into when traveling. I would highly recommend this product and will be ordering a few more of them for Christmas gifts!

The product works well. I have a shorter beard that’s thick and course and this helps have a cleaner look.I liked the comb that came with it. I tried to use the scissors, but it could cut a single strand of beard hair, so I’ll probably toss those. For the price this was a good product.Perfect as a gift because I feel like this is something no one wants to buy for themselves, but would love it if given to them.

I was skeptical when I bought it, but to my surprise it works quite well for straightening my beard. Display is almost too dim to read but otherwise I like it.

Used on a semi-coarse beard. Pretty smooth, actually showed me where I needed to trim and clean up the beard better! Definitely benefits from beard balm and oil to straighten better. Nice effect, appears less scruffy and more tailored. Can't see myself using every day, but definitely a few times a week and for events. Took about 10 minutes to straighten a 3 inch beard. Easy to use, plug in wait a few minutes and run it through your beard.

Packaging was nice, delivery was fast, plastic piece on straightener swivel was already cracked and broken off but doesn’t effect the straightener at all. Looks a lot more expensive than it does in the picture husband loves it for his beard and hair

Works, good quality item. I use it around 2 times a week. I have a naturally curly beard and it mostly straightens it. I use it around 400 degrees and I am very happy. You can’t go wrong with this. Don’t expect curls to just go straight, I wouldn’t want that. It makes everything look really clean.

This really does work! It heats up pretty quickly and is great when you want a quick fix. It tames flyaways and give you a way neater look. If your beard needs a bit of grooming than I think this would work great for you.
