If you prefer not to use the adhesive strips to hang the Frog Pod or Bug Pod, this wall bracket mounts to the wall using eight suction cups. Using this option allows you to easily reposition the wall bracket as needed.

Followed the instructions and this works great!
I was apprehensive to use the adhesive strip backing that came with our Boon frog and was glad I found this!Other reviewers have commented that this doesn't stick well for them on their tub, however, we have had this up for about 3-4 months now in our child's bathtub, and it hasn't budged, even with the occasional smack from my 14-month-old. The instructions indicate to adhere this to a dry tub wall (I had always thought you were supposed to wet suction cups previously so not sure if this explains anything) and make sure the suction cups do not sit across any grout lines (so it has a solid surface to create the proper suction). I like that you can easily remove this for cleaning without having to worry how you will get it back on!As for the weight of the toys inside, we have a set of stacking cups, bath thermometer floatie, 4 squirters that reside in it. Will be buying some more toys to put in it, but do not foresee much of an issue with the weight of the toys - they are all pretty light since they are meant to float :)So glad I got this!

Doesn't stick
I RARELY give a product a bad review. I tend to read both the high and low reviews before a purchase and usually assume user error on most of the negative reviews. This one really doesn't stick as folks have claimed. I tried it several times in several locations on my new and very clean ceramic tile and it doesn't stay. Let me be clear, it will stick for a few minutes with the frog attached, but not with any weight in it. It slowly pulls away from the wall and falls within 5-10 mins of being installed. I have tried reducing the weight. It didn't work. This is unfortunate because I love this frog pod but I am not sticking double sided tape onto brand new tiles.

so far stuck - but I haven't put the pod in yet
I was asked by the company to rate this, as they strive for 5 stars - however, since I haven't put the frog on the holder just yet, I can only give it four stars - it is still stuck where I stuck it, although the shower hasn't been used yet (no introduction of water to the environment) and I haven't set the frog on it yet either - I'm sure all you parents of 3-year olds can imagine the many reasons why I haven't gotten around to moving his bathtime set-up from the bathtub to his new shower *just* yet - despite already having bought the holder for his pod and the shower extension! :)

Did not hold
Purchased to replace the standard plate with the sticky side. I was actually going to try to make one of these myself (somehow) until I saw this and was super excited. In theory this is awesome, in practice it did not hold. Well, it did hold the frog pod up on the wall with toys in it but, upon removing the bin and replacing it inched its way down a bit. My kids also would grab toys, or the bin, or bump the pod and it would slide around. Eventually it fell, almost on them, when they were in the bath. It hasn't been put back on the wall since. The bath is one of those drop-ins, not tile wall.

Super holding power
I didnt want to mess with the adhesive that the bath frog comes with or drill any holes to mount it so I thought I would try this. Its been up a week, the frog has toys in it and three baby bottles of shampoo on it and its holding really well. I adjusted the suction cup holder once while mounting the frog and man was it hard to move-- its got such great suction. We have a 9 month old, and we dont let her climb on it or grab ahold of the frog. The only time we touch the frog is to dump out or scoop up the toys or grab the shampoo. It hasnt moved an inch and its been up about two weeks. I did run the cups under water before sticking them to the dry tile wall. I didnt let any cups overlap any grout lines, they are adhering to smooth tile only.

Not quite strong enough
When I was pregnant with my first daughter, one of the first things I registered for was the Boon Frog. I had seen one at a friend's house and I thought it looked so cool. However, I quickly realized that the frog's adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold up on my tile. No problem, I just ordered the Boon Frog Pod Suction Cup Bracket. Unfortunately, it fell short, too. While it will hold a small amount of weight, the frog quickly fell down with any normal bath toys in it. It might be the type of tile that I have, but I was disappointed.

does the job
At our old house the Boon frog was held up by the adhesive strips it came with, & there were NO problems with it. Once we moved, I couldn't decide where exactly I wanted to mount the frog in the bathroom, so I didn't want to commit to heavy duty adhesives or, especially, the screw wall mount option. So I decided to try this suction cup bracket. We've had it for over 2 years now &, honestly, it only fell down a couple of times, which is WAY less than I expected. It works great for us. & I can move it to any spot I want whenever I want without much work at all. Too bad the company discontinued making these. I would buy more once the suction becomes weaker on my current one (which is totally normal & expected with time).

Garbage
This thing is useless. Really disappointed, as I had high hopes for it keeping the frog pod on the wall of the shower. We have plain, old school tile, nothing fancy. The first time I installed it (according to instructions) it stayed up for two days. The second time, I left the bracket up with no frog on it for 24 hours, pressing the suction cups back into the tile whenever I went into the bathroom. It stayed up for a week. Now I can't even get it to adhere for longer than 30minutes before it pops off. This item is garbage. And now it's in the garbage.

Didn't stick to the tub!
I bought this so the frog could stick to the tub without drilling holes in our tub surround. Nope. It sucks.

Best to use 2 sided
Does not work very well on tiles. Best to use 2 sided tape
