A great book pressed by Oxford for English learner. All kinds of methods and practice let you know how to read, think and write, very helpful for improving the ability of reading and wrtiing. It would better to buy a new one in which you can get a code and learn a lot from their online system.

Fantastic series
This whole series is great for young students trying to learn how to read and write academic English. It develops their vocabulary and grammar systematically, and combines the materials gleaned from the texts with the final writing piece for each unit. The topics are relevant and interesting even for quite young students - I use it with 12-14 year olds.
