Worth it.
The enclosure unit:Large, heavy & sturdy - this is one piece of furniture that's going to last. I don't recommend using it for a seating area (it's really too tall for that anyway) - but it's going to last a long time. Very well constructed. No problems assembling it - very easy to put together, but it's a 2-person job, just be advised. The plastic liner for the litter box to sit in is a HUGE plus for me. If you have a male cat that likes to try to pee against the sides of the litterbox (causing leaks, even with a covered litterbox), you'll appreciate this.Basic but very nice construction, doesn't "look" like a litterbox enclosure. I chose to purchase the optional decorative feet to raise the enclosure off the floor a bit and give it more of a decorative look. When I recently moved in to share a house with someone, the only place for the litterbox was the kitchen, which I really wasn't fond of. It's not near food prep areas, but I just didn't like having the litterbox in the kitchen. With it enclosed in this piece of furniture, you would never know it's there.Sizing:I have a big cat - very long from nose to tail, and 15 lbs - so he has a big litterbox with a lid on it. (This one: Catit Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Pan) This enclosure is large enough for the litter box to fit inside - even with the lid on - which surprised me. Check your measurements before ordering, because this is a large piece of furniture, but I was very glad it was!Use:I love that this unit has a slide-out drawer behind the double doors - I use it to store the litter scoop (in a plastic bag) and the cat's little containers of wet food. A case of 48 Sheba Perfect Portion containers fits in there nicely, double-stacked.To clean the litterbox, I open the double doors, slide the plastic insert out with the litter box inside it, tilt it a little so it's resting on my foot, open the hood on the litterbox, scoop, and slide it back into the enclosure & close the doors. The whole operation takes about 5 minutes at most, making it easy to do 2x per day.Bottom line:Don't hesitate to get this enclosure if you want something sturdy and well-made that will hide the litterbox but still make it easy for you to access the box for cleaning!

READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY -
The directions are reasonably clear - HOWEVER - decide in advance what side you want the cat opening on. Then when you get to the back panel - BESURE - you put the panel so that the Slats that hold the Charcoal Filters are on the outside top positioning. Other wise you will have trouble placing and changing the filters. The FILTERS DO NOT COME WITH THE CABINET - NOR DO THE FEET that you install on the bottom panel. BOTH ITEMS ARE EXTRA AND YOU WILL WANT TO PURCHASE THEM AT THE SAME TIME YOU ARE ORDERING THE CABINET. This sounds complicated to assemble, but it really isn't. An electric drill/screwdriver is the best and easiest tool to use for assembly. The cabinet is very sturdy and really looks good. The doors fit nicely and are sturdy as well. The black box that holds the Sand Box is very easy to access and is plenty large to hold the biggest sand box, DO MEASURE to be sure yours will fit. The "pooper-scooper" and other items will also fit in this black box behind the sand box, which is very convenient. The Drawer holds many added "cat" items. I am very pleased with my purchase. I hope this information helps you to have an easier assembly.

Good quality, looks great
I am so glad I decided to spend a little bit more to get this cabinet. It's beautiful and sturdy, and looks great in my living room. Worth it if you want your home to look like it hasn't been completely taken over by cats (even if it has).

Very nice cabinet for average size litter box
I bought this in the biggest size hoping that my Litter Robot would fit inside. Unfortunately, I was mistaken about the dimensions and it was too small (the Litter Robot is GINORMOUS). But that is my mistake entirely. In terms of the actual cabinet it is nice quality and was easy to put together.Pretty cabinet, too small for a Litter Robot, but would be great for smaller litter boxes.

I like the height
I have a tall cat who is bigger than most small to medium size dogs. And he's small compared to what his sire looked like. Finding covered cat boxes that will work for him is a struggle. Okay, there's one in the bathroom that would be perfect but he refuses to use it, leaving it to the other 2, and I haven’t found another one like that online or in stores. We had one in the living room that was great for keeping smells out of the room, but even though it was large, he still had to duck and couldn't sit up to do the deeds. When I saw this, I took a bunch of measurements and it seemed like a good fit. The 8 inch step over is super easy for him and so far the girls seem to love hopping in that way.Putting it together: It took me about 2 hours to put it together and someone else took another 10 minutes fiddling with the door hinges to get them flush. It would have gone faster if the instructions were a bit clearer (as in fuzzy) or if I could have found the instructions online (I looked, wasn’t on the product listing or on their website). So for those with vision issues (like me), this was annoying. How sturdy is it. It’s okay. For its price, I was expecting it to be a bit stronger, but I do feel like this will work better. The insert: I saw on the website that the insert is waterproof, but one of the girls has the annoying tendency to pee over the side of the cat box, so to assure some sort of safety from pee, we lined the corners with a rubber tape. How is it with smells: Oof. Not great, even with the carbon filters. The larger opening, which I needed, and the cabinet doors do nothing to help keep the smells out of the room.Overall: Like I said, I think this will work for him. So long as the pee doesn’t escape, we should be okay. The benefit to the raised opening is that I have a cat box in there that has higher sides to try to keep the mess contained but the youngest (she’s 4 or 5, so not that young) has a tendency to treat the cat box like a free-for-all in a sand pit for toddlers. I wish I was exaggerating. She’s already managed to kick litter out the opening, which she should not be able to do. I do think it’s overpriced for what I got but I had a list of needs and this one ticked more boxes than any of the others.
