Alex Evenings Women's Top and Jacket Set

I bought this for a formal event, when I tried it on, I'm so glad I did. It immediately made my slacks look more formal and added a sense of elegance to my appearance. I bought a large following the size chart, so it is pretty true to size. Value for the money is great, I think it will add a touch of elegance to anyone's outfit. The only draw back is that it does shed glittery stuff, so spraying it with hairspray will be a must. I recommend this twinset.

Very dressy but still comfortable

I ordered this for my Mom to wear to a wedding. Good thing we ordered well ahead of time so we could buy something else. The amount of glitter on this twinset is way over the top and is now all over our home just from her quickly trying it on and immediately putting it back on the hanger. It’s a shame because it’s a sharp looking twinset and fit her beautifully too. The soft mint green gave it just the right amount of subtle color and the fabric quality (minus the glitter) is superior. However, the amount of glitter that would be all over her black pants, purse, other people, etc., would be astounding based on the literal 2 minutes she had it on. The amount of shedded glitter was unreal and was in our laundry room - she was nowhere near that room, but that’s how much glitter remained on her after she removed it. The company would be far better off using metallic thread to give it the glistening effect. We had hoped to find a similar set by the company based on the quality factor, but nearly everything seems to have glitter.If you want to have a high end elementary school art teacher look then this is the twinset for you. If you enjoy endless vacuuming and using tape-style lint brushes all over your homenthis is also a great choice. But if you don’t want to be self-conscious about all of the glitter you shed with every move then I’d suggest a different outfit. Again, it’s a shame and I hate to give a 1 star review to an otherwise lovely outfit, but if I wasn’t honest about it I wouldn’t be providing an honest review.

I wore this top to a semi-formal event. Beautiful and fits well. But the comments by others about the glitter shedding is quite accurate. Just be aware!

Bought this for my mother to wear at my son's wedding. She looked fantastic, and loved it.

Yes the sparkles went everywhere (and they're not so easy to clean up because they stick). However, I was very happy with my purchase. It came in true to size, comfortable, lightweight, and is beautiful! I received many complements. I would buy it again - even with the sparkles.

I could love it, fit is perfect ,but the GLITTERS! I didn't know that the garment is with glitters. I hand wash it hoping it will washed out, but still these annoying glitters were all over me, on the floor and all over my car. I don't have time to return it since i need one for a wedding. Please warn us next time. Thank you.

The pictures don't do this product justice. This top set is so sparkly and the material is slinky and fluid and stretchy . I purchased this for a grandmother of the bride and it is perfect. Would also make a beautiful holiday top too! The only drawback is it shreds glitter.
