Good for my use case
I decided to upgrade my old iBook G4โs drive as it started show signs of failure; I would have to hit it on the side for the head to kickstart.Once I got this installed with an IDE to mSATA adapter, it recognized it and I was able to get both OS X Tiger and Leopard. Let me tel you that opening applications and even some light web browsing has improved in performance on my end. Obviously everyoneโs experience will be different, but this was mine. I am super satisfied.

Performance appears to be good.
Just installed so I have not been able to evaluate longevity. Also, the head of the included screw was not really large enough in the PC that I installed the M.2 in

Great SSD for mini PC applications
Used this to upgrade a ASUS Chrome Box CN90 Models and it worked great. No problems and have been using now for over 1 year and no issues.

Fast! Huge upgrade for laptop with mechanical drive.
Even though its limited to sata connection, this was a huge upgrade in boot up speed as well as app launching speed. Very easy to install and was recognized instantly. Besides ram, this is the only other easily upgradable part in a laptop that can give you an obvious performance boost!

Inexpensive upgrade
I purchased this for use in an HP Chromebox G1 J5N52UT, to replace the stock 16GB SSD. It installed easily and works great! Quick shipment, arrived on time.

Installed as Boot Drive in a Dell Vostro 3460
I have a Dell Vostro 3460 with a msata slot. So i installed the 128gb in the msata slot and booted to BIOS. The BIOS recognized the drive. Got to windows and it did not show up either in File Manager or Disk Manager. I scratched my head for a bit and then tried DISKPART. It was there. I CLEAN the msata drive and formatted the msata drive. Rebooted back to windows. Still no Joy. When back to DISKPART. This time I turned on AUTOMOUNT for the msata drive. Powered down. I disconnected the HHD and booted from a Windows 21H1 install USB, Build the System, Booted into the new image on the msata drive. All was great. I the reinstalled the HHD and reformatted it. The msata drive is now the boot drive and the HHD is for data.As an aside, when the HHD was not installed Windows showed battery time of just under 4 hr.

Used it in a Minisforum PC
Tossed this into a little Minisforum micro PC that I'm using as an Ubuntu server for DNS, controlling my wifi access points, and a RustDesk server. I can't attest to how well this would work in a more write intensive environment - all of my logging is to memory and only written once a day. This drive hasn't caused me any problems thus far though.

Do not recommend
The packaging for this hard drive is terrible. The hard drive is in a soft case with a plastic insert. The hard drive does not fit snug in the packaging causing it to float around in the package. On top of this, Amazon shipped this item in one of the soft sleeve packages instead of a cardboard box. My hard drive arrived damaged. I tried to format the drive a few times and the hard drive could not be picked up by my brand new computer. I ended up going with the Sabrent equivalent drive and have had no issues thus far.Kingshark FIX YOUR PACKAGING otherwise more people will end up returning this product.
