This topper appears to be made of quality foam, but it is too hard for us and makes sleep too hot. To return it, however, the company charges a 40% restocking fee for any topper that is out of its original packaging and expanded. How can a customer know if this topper is right unless it's been tried out? We will not be purchasing from this company again.

Was hopeful as it was first very comfortable and help releve stress points. Only had 30 days and cracked all over and falling apart!

2020-10-15: UPDATE! Company definitely stands by their product. Sent me a new one, no questions asked. I submitted the warranty claim form and thought I'd hear back from them with something like "it's used, get lost", but I never heard back and a new one just showed up one day!2020-09-25: UPDATE! Almost 2.5 years later and the topper has started to fall apart and does not hold the structure like it used to.. One part of their webpage says warranty is 5 years, another says 3. I'm not sure which, but either way it should still be covered. Also, price went from $75 to $95. I'll probably still buy another one even if they don't honor the warranty. It's still the best topper out there and I've had a good couple years of sleep on it.2018-05-15: Best sleep ever! Only had this for a couple of nights, but slept like a baby both nights! Lavender aroma is a bit strong, but it's better than chemical smells that I read a lot about and I'm sure it will diminish over time.Taking a step back, about a week ago I bought a Serta Memory Foam topper. It didn't have the "Egg Crate" top. It was very comfortable to lay on for 5 mins, but I would get so hot on that thing I couldn't sleep even with the sheets off of me! It's like a heater built in. So, this one stays cool, even with the sheets on!

I was on the fence and considering buying a Purple Mattress, but my own mattress is fairly new. However, I noticed that my hips would be sore when I slept on my side, which is why the Purple’s concept of cradling pressure points and aligning your spine appealed to me. However, the $1,000 price point did not. Then, I found this mattress topper for $79.99, and it changed my sleep. My old mattress feels brand new, I’m sleeping better, and I don’t wake up with hip pain. My dog seemed to enjoy it too. While the lavender smell was overwhelming when I took it out of the package, now I don’t smell any lavender at all, so you can ignore the reviews that said it is too overwhelming. I also don’t notice that it changed the temperature at all by making it cooler or warmer.

When i received this, i unpacked it and layed it out flat on my couch in the den...i let it plump up and air out. My whole room smelled like lovely lavender for a day....then i put in on the bed after removing all the sheets, mattress pad, etc..i put it under the pad. It was every bit of 3 inches if not more when it plumped up, which only took a few hours to be fully done. The first night sleeping on it, i smelled the lovely lavender scent in a soft way and i slept wonderfully. The next night i slept on it, the scent was a little more faint..and now it's barely detectable...which is fine either way, i love the scent...it was not over powering. The comfort level is amazing...it plumps right up in place. I have nothing but positive things to say about this....perfect in every way!

I am loving this mattress topper! It’s such a great price & really good quality. It truly is a full king size 3in topper after it sits for about 1 hour. It smells of lavender but it is no overwhelming what so ever. It truly smells incredible. As far as comfort goes, I am currently laying on it in bed & I am SO comfortable, it does sink & form to your body but it’s dense enough to provide support where it’s needed. It normally takes me 20 mins of tossing & turning to find my comfy spot, but I honestly just hit the bed with my phone & I was instantly comfortable. It also does not hold heat, if anything it holds the cool & has not made me sweat yet, I have had this product for about 8 hours & I have been laying in it on & off & I have been truly impressed that it does not hold my body heat in one spot, it’s a very breathable product! It’s great if you can’t afford a brand new memory foam mattress (those are super pricey 🙄) it does give a good bit of height to the bed, but it’s seriously the best thing since sliced bread to me at the moment ☺️

We previously purchased a Serta foam mattress with a 6 in base, three in egg crate foam and three in memory foam top. It was not what we expected, my wife woke up with back pain and I with hip pain. Her pain was so severe that she went to the guest room that had an egg crate foam topper and slept much better. I ordered this topper and have slept on it for a week. We both love it, the pain is gone and we both get a good nights sleep. The lavender smell is not offensive. I recommend it highly. It kept us from throwing out an expensive new mattress and starting over.

I didn't find this item to have any offensive odor upon arrival, if fact, it smelled like lavender. I unrolled onto the floor for several hours and all the folds/wrinkles came right out. I placed it on the bed, under the fitted sheet and didn't think any more about it. I've been sleeping great and I don't find that the "hole" is in the center of the bed anymore. Great fixer without having to buy a new mattress!
