Let's set the record straight here.Yes, these curtains are gorgeous. The stitching isn't always perfect but it's nothing I would really take offence for. I love the velvet, its colour and its weight. The look of my bedroom has definitely changed for the better!No, the curtains aren't light blocking. Which is ok for me as that isn't the reason why I bought them. They are light dimming though. I bought two sets that I juxtaposed together with a double curtain rail, so bear that in mind when looking at my pictures.No, the curtains aren't soundproof. So if they come up in your search for soundproof curtains, like that did for me, I would suggest to look elsewhere.As for the energy efficiency claim, it is hard to gauge and remains to be seen for me.Hope this helps!

I have no photo at the moment as I haven’t bought a pole for them. But I’m use say that they are absolutely perfect!! Colour Navy blue is amazing and they look really expensive. Excellent quality and the backing is exactly what I wanted not the usual white lining. I will definitely but more from here.Thank you

Great quality and value for money.needed a ten foot drop for a bay window in a victorian window.Very thick velvet,no draughts and keeps out the light.Good choice of colours too.

It advertised as velvet but it's plastic.

Overall I have this five stars because it fits perfectly where I needed it and was a reasonable price.It is 100% polyester, which is both good and bad. It’s good because it can be machine washed and I don’t expect it to shrink. Also because it is not overwhelmingly heavy.It is not however as nice as a cotton velvet or other heavier fabrics.It is not insulated. Or at least doesn’t have a backing fabric. But again I don’t mind because it will make it easier and cheaper to clean.The fittings at the top are great because I have a relatively thick rod (2.5in diameter) and this pots on it perfectly. It is also long enough to cover my entire front door all the way to the top.

For what I paid very very happy. Love that they had a double option for the pole
