Akashic Records: Unlocking the Secret Universal Knowledge and Nature of the Akasha Including Prayer, Guided Meditation, and Akashic Tarot Reading (Learning Tarot)

This book has the appearance of being rushed as it contains a multitude of grammatical errors and other mistakes as well as outright contradictions and missing information. I wonder if anyone proofread it even once. For example, the author explains that belief in reincarnation is essential to using the Akashic Records, and yet a few pages later, she comments that "...we live once, so we should use the knowledge that we acquire to improve our lives." Hmm. She gives Linda Howe's "Pathway Prayer Process" for opening and closing the records, telling us that Paragraph 3 should be repeated three times; however, the prayer, as printed here, is not given in paragraphs but all runs together, so one has no idea where Paragraph 3 begins and ends. She also mentions more than once that the Sacred Prayer of the Mayans was their biggest contribution in connection with the Akashic Records, and the most powerful means of opening the Records-- but I can find this prayer nowhere in the book. There's a section of "Akashic prayers," but no instructions for how/when these are to be used.There is a section on Akashic Tarot which is completely useless. She doesn't tell you how to do an Akashic Tarot reading. Rather, she informs you that there's a deck called the Akashic Tarot (which I own). What she doesn't tell you is that this deck has non-traditional suits, such as scrolls, forces, etc. It also has a different number of cards from the traditional Tarot deck. But this author goes on to begin listing the cards in a traditional Tarot deck. Yup. She actually takes an entire page to simply list:The Ace of WandsThe Two of WandsThe Three of WandsThe Four of WandsThe Five of Wands.....And so on, all through the Wands, and all through the Pentacles, no further information, no pictures, no descriptions, just that absurd list. Then she adds as an afterthought that there are Swords and Pentacles, too. And again, these are the Traditional suits-- NOT the suits in the Akashic Tarot she talks about! I wonder if she's even seen that deck. So, the section of the book on doing an Akashic Tarot reading-- which is really the only reason I bought the book-- is useless. I thought she's give some instructions, spreads, and examples of doing an Akashic reading with a standard Tarot deck. But she neither tells you how to do an Akashic reading with a regular deck, nor does it accurately describe the Akashic Tarot Deck.The author never actually tells you what you will find when you read the records. She doesn't give any examples of how the information comes through. She gives Linda Howe's Pathway Prayer for opening and closing the records, but in between, NOTHING about what the records are actually like, other than basically how awesome they are. Nothing about how you will actually EXPERIENCE the recordsI just get the impression that this book was a rush job, and a patch job, that the author just pieced information together and actually knows nothing about the Akashic records or doing a reading. Whether it was or not, it badly needs editing. I'm curious about who this Mari Silva is. She has a book out on almost every occult subject under the sun. I own three of them-- this will be my last-- and they are all similar, intro-level, mediocrely-written overviews with questionable information. There is no way she can be an "expert" on all these subjects, and I see nothing online about her being an actual practitioner with any real-life experience, clients, etc. lending her any authority to write on these topics.Anyway-- back to this book. Huge disappointment.

I've been accessing the Akashic Records for some time now, but with little proper information on how to do so. I decided after an entire month of not being allowed access anymore, and seeing spirit guides for guidance, I needed to give in, carve out some time, and do some true research: And read a few books. This is the first I've looked into, and was delighted to find the last chapter actually includes tarot advice too!This book offers true guidance into accessing your records, healing current and generational pain, and growing into a beautiful spirit. I'm excited to move forward in my journey, and use this as a stepping stone into mastering a new skill.

I am so happy to have read thisamazing well written, full of useful information and sure to use for years to come. Will not disappoint! Thank you Mari Silva!!

If I could give this book 100 stars I would. It’s very very informative. It tells you exactly what Akashic records are all about and how to read them I now feel comfortable on my own to seek out and read my records I highly recommend this book to anyone getting started in this subject

Had I known the contents I would have not purchased this book because I had ready Linda Howe's book and this uses her Pathway Prayer. I have to say too Linda Howe's set of books on the Akashic Records which I think fleshes things out more.

Mari Silva brings teachings from Linda Howe (who happened to inappropriately volunteer personal private information in one of her books - - information that the book reader does not ask, and that is not in context nor concordance with the title of her book).Mari Silva wrote: "If you have already chosen to charge a fee, make sure to collect it before you start the reading, just to get it out of the way."We canNOT and should NOT agree with this. It is a G-d given gift to receive information from the Akashic Records, especially when we have pure motivation. Money is just an idea; that's all to it. We should not charge anyone money in exchange for the expression of a G-d given gift.Karmic punishment for thus charging may take time ; to give the Akashic Records reader a chance to change to the better and make up the act. If no change happens, then either in this life or a future life this G-d given gift will be stripped away.

Great intro into Akashic Records! :)

By far this is one of the best books in dealing with the Akashic Records at any level. It is profound and gives in depth explanations what it is and how it works for us. I like the fact that she adds in the meditations and sacred prayers.

So I haven't really heard of the Akashic records but it does seem to make sense if you're spiritual and have an open mind. I love the simplicity and the prayers are beautiful if nothing else comes from it....I hope it takes away my fears from unknown origins and also allows me to move forward free from anxiety and worry of past trauma and stress.Great for guidance and help within yourself well done

The book was well researched and very interesting. Mari Silva did a marvelous job once again. The book was captivating and straight to the point, for anyone who has an interest in the subject. I enjoy reading Mari's books.
