I love kamut, and was recently horrified to discover weevils in my stash of flour. Further horror ensued when Bob's Red Mill was out of stock and Nuts.com had discontinued it. Turning to Amazon, I had trouble finding kamut flour, but this came up in search results. And with enough patience and a blender, flakes can become flour-seriouly, don't buy oat flour, just put oatmeal in the blender. Added bonus, my favorite 'quick' bread recipe involves soaking oatmeal overnight in buttermilk, and I have had great success in swapping out the oats for any other rolled grain. (Buttermilk oat farls, Bernard Clayton's complete book of breads, mid 90s ed.)So, the rolled grain farls were delicious. The kamut was of great quality. Kamut flakes are significantly harder than oats, so I have a rather coarse flour-may have to sift it then give parts another whirl. Still useable. Someone with a high power blender probably wouldn't have any trouble getting something finely ground the first try.Of course, now this brand's kamut flour showed up in an unrelated search, so I will buy that in the future for flour and these just for flakes.

I really like this product. It's very tasty and satisfying. They need to correct their cooking instructions. The first package I purchased had NO instructions. They've added them but as you can see in the photo, they tell you how much water to add but neglect to say how much of the wheat flakes to add to the boiling water. I think it's a cup but it should be updated. Otherwise, it's great stuff!

This is raw uncooked cereal that needs to be cooked thoroughly for at least 25 minutes to be edible. I tried it and I was disappointed with the taste of the finished product. I threw it out.

Advertised with an outdated label. Was excited for these, but they arrived with a new label sticker over the original. The new label includes my family’s allergen and we cannot eat them. The actual label is included in a photo on this review.

I can't speak to this as a cereal but I do use it as one of the main ingredients in my home made granola and it is excellent. Would highly recommend.

This was my first experience eating kamut, so I can’t compare this brand to any other brand. However, my whole family loves it. It’s similar to oatmeal but so much better. The only con is you have to soak the kamut overnight to cook it so it’s not so hard.

I didn’t care for the texture. Too seedy!
