365 Days of Happiness: Because happiness is a piece of cake!
D**.
A dose of thoughtfulness to savor every day
I'm a happy guy, I don't need a book on happiness, right? But my wife, she recently lost her father. That sort of grief can impact your life for quite awhile and in ways you can't predict. I am just no good at saying the things that help with grief, so I started reading to her a day here and there from this book to help her focus on the positive around her. The book is written much like a journal; each day is a new insight or thought exercise to help you recognize the positive that exists even on bad days. This format lends itself well to marathon reading, or just reading one chapter every day for a shot of thoughtfulness. I find the book is useful to me and my wife in this way, rather than racing through the book it works for us better in doses; something to consider and process each day and make our own. The very fact that this book is a celebration of happiness and focusing on finding the happiness that already exists around everyone has helped my wife cope over the last few months better than any words I could share. As for me, I'm a happy guy but I'll admit that this book has helped me as well by giving me new points of view to consider and giving me the words to express myself better with regards to being, and finding, happiness.

I've always felt that having a book like this, something that gives you that little extra ...
I've always felt that having a book like this, something that gives you that little extra dose of sun light, each day was essential in my life. This one, "365 Days of Happiness," is the one that speaks best for me, based on my mindset, of life in the physical realm. it's so important to have, light workers, like Jacqueline, to remind us that, happiness is readily available to all of us, if we just , first look inside ourselves, and, then look around us, with an open mind, and, clear vision. Wouldn't it be wonderful, if every one realized that we, in our physical bodies have the power to create the shift , so needed in the world we currently inhabit. There is no need to wait to find happiness, peace, and over all contentment in another realm. The Creator, and, the Universe has already given us every thing we need to be fulfilled, right here, right now, Look around, and see the sun, moon, stars, and skies, grass, trees, and flowers, even the other beautiful beings, and creatures that we share this planet with, and just say, thank you. Create your own shift. And, support, the light workers, like Jacqueline who have made it their life's work to teach us in their own words, that happiness, really is a choice. Claim it, it's yours!

Nice book!
This was a nice little book. It provided a daily passage to think about in order to get to a happier place in your life. While some of them were a little unconventional, they were interesting enough to pique my interest. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a light read or prompts for journaling.

Mindful Happiness!
Imagine a year filled with happiness!Jacqueline Pirtle, in her book — 365 Days of Happiness: Because happiness is a piece of cake! highlights the power of gratefulness, resilience, among others, for every day of the year. She interestingly guides readers by journaling each day, based on happiness, which is a fulcrum for a “high for life” frequency. Whilst acknowledging the possibilities of negative emotions, this book teaches that for each day we experience these emotions, it is possible to face and surmount these feelings, if our default disposition is happiness. The cover of 365 Days of Happiness portrays happiness as a beautiful cake. Perceiving a piece of cake, eating it, and enjoying its sweetness, are examples of how life can be consciously perceived, and enjoyed. As an Ambassador for Mindful Happiness, Jacqueline creatively presents ways happiness can be experienced everyday of the year — 365 days, and beyond.Ukpeme Akpan OkonAmbassador for Peace, Author, Musician.

Turn the page and experience your Happiness! A must read!!!
The gentle color of the book cover made me fall in love before opening. The invitation to dive right in and savor the content just like to cupcake on the was good enough for me. I loved the fact that when the book arrived it had it's own book mark to help me keep my place while reading. Jacqueline truly knows how to paint the picture of taking you to your happy place. In some scenarios within the book, it feels as though she is right there with you to help talk it out. I was not able to put the book down because I could resonate with any given day by day actionable tips. It's an easy read and I highly recommend you purchase this book if you want to truly experience what being happy is all about.

Happiness is a Piece of Cake
We’re all born to win, but it is only too easy to get bogged down by life. Pirtle has written a book to help weary men and women to get the sparkle back. The author insists that a course of 365 exercises will make miracles happen. It is a wholehearted and passionate effort to help people help themselves. Whether it will help is up to the individual reader. For my own part, I can only add that singing and dancing certainly help people lay off their worries, at least, for a time. Is there any miracle treatment for unhappiness? Only if one accepts and comes to term with living in a world fraught with misery. The upside is that this earth still is a beautiful place. Five stars for the author's enthusiasm.
