The speakers are fantastic. They're almost flush mount, stick away from the wall maybe an inch. For what we use it for the quality sound is very nice

Sleak design, and super cool look. Sound quality is marginal at best. That said I would think these would do well in a setup that has more full range speakers to include possibly a subwoofer and these would compliment nicely. By themselves the sound range is extremely underwhelming and a step above a 70's transistor radio. Decent highs, mediocre middle, and absent lows. Have to take that all in stride given the footprint. Like I said these would supplement a larger multi speaker setup nicely, alone they are not what you would want.

I have to admit, for the inexpensive price tag, these work great. I'm just using them as rear speakers for my surround sound system for my home theater. My very expensive Boston Acoustic speakers went out, so these were the replacements.

These look great! I wanted to use them as height speakers on the ceiling for my home theater. I wish other manufacturers would make something thin like this. The problem is that they need to make them sound much better, which should be relatively easy. A port is definitely needed to extend the bass response because these start falling off at 300Hz and by 200Hz, the bass falls off a cliff. The claimed 60Hz response is crazy. My in-room response at 80Hz is near -25dB (that's negative twenty-five)! After running Audyssey XT32, my Denon chose a 250Hz crossover point which is way too high for my liking. With Audyssey XT32's room correction EQ applied, I could probably live with these speakers but I just can't get over the lack of bass. Without Audyssey, they sound like cheap clock radio speakers. If you're looking for an inexpensive music speaker to use with a sub, these might work. Best I can recommend is that you try them out yourself to see if you like them. I really wish I could like them. Maybe I'm too demanding but I want my surround speakers to respond to at least 80Hz at -3dB. I don't mind if they're larger, just not thicker.

I got a used set of speakers in a dirty beat up box. Speakers would have been fine but these were not even clean before they were sent out.

If you are looking for professional sound quality and clarity, this may not the right product for you. if you are like me and were looking for replacement speakers for my old RCA surround sound system (with non-powered speakers) then this will work extremely well. the only negative is that they do not sit flat on the wall. the mounting surface makes them stick out slightly and swing if you touch them. like a picture on the wall.

. They look and sound great. It's the listing that's a bit deceiving. I should have read the description. It's pictured as having a set of four speakers when in reality it's only two.
