Excuse me that my review doesn't say 'Amazon Verified Purchase' as I'm waiting for this product to ship.But I've bought this product quite a few times which brings me here.I have the most difficult time acquiring this aftershave locally.Everytime I come across a store that carries it I have to buy multiple bottles because it's gone the next time I return...it's gone and doesn't seem to be restocked.Then it pops up at a different store when I least expect it.Price wise this 2-pack is a better buy as the Cool Wave aftershave (where I live) runs around $7.50 a bottle plus tax.What does Cool Wave by Gillette smell like?To me it smells very leathery and grassy with a light hint of lemon...fairly soapy. The fragrance hasn't changed a bit since it's release in 1992.It reminds me of an approach to the clean side of Drakkar Noir but replace the juniper in it with vetiver.If you don't like Drakkar Noir in any shape or form? I don't think you'll like Cool Wave.Packaging:It does come boxed and shockingly Gillette stills produces this in a glass bottle.I do miss the ocean blue glass and catchy bottle look Cool Wave once had though.But this bottle is textured on the sides for gripping ease with wet hands.Plunger style seal for the splash spout this doesn't screw on.Bottom Line:A very effective and thoroughly pleasant aftershave with far more depth in scent than you'd think for a grocery store aftershave.Nice to keep a bottle in your desk or locker at work.Works well in any casual or formal attire and if you're in a rush but want to smell good and keep it simple...Cool Wave is the way to go.It is the one aftershave by Gillette that has been able to fight off the scent trends of today and survive with good reason.5-stars,highly recommended aftershave!

Clean not over powering Scent

Smells great. Excellent After Shave

My local stores stopped carrying this so it was good to find it. Love the smell. One comment said they didn't like the smell. Why would you buy after shave not knowing what it smells like? Anyway, it's all good! Delivery was fast. Will definitely buy again!

This splash smells excellent. It is worth every penny I like it.
