I bought these for my friends 21st birthday, she is absolutely obsessed with mermaids and I thought this would be the perfect gift. When she opened it, she absolutely fell in love! However, they were a little different than what I was expecting. The glass itself was a lot larger than I had expected it to be; almost the size of a normal kitchen glass. But, the liquid inside of the tail did equate to about a shot size. So, the idea of having it for a shot glass still worked out. It also seems that the glass is made out of a very thin glass and could break easily. But, what shot glass doesnt break?

These look JUST like the photos in person and come in great packaging to keep them safe. However...that packaging is super necessary as they are really quite THIN. They feel like an aggressive squeeze could shatter them.My fav ladies loved how perfect they fit the mermaid themed bachelorette party we attended (don't judge us). They fit shots much better than cocktails FYI. But that probably should have been apparent before getting to this review. I clearly didn't read well enough before ordering.All in all---I liked them! Fun gift but does not seem like it will be a long-lasting memento.

Neat idea. I really don't like the big bubble on the bottom though. I guess it's to keep the glass from breaking but it looks bad. I thought there was dirt in the glass at first. It comes in a 2 pack- which I'm very happy about because it's a gift so I can keep the one that looks the worst and give the other as the gift. I'm giving 4 stars because of the price and the novelty idea of this. But just know it's not really the best quality. Oh- and it's very wobbly.

It certainly looks the same as the picture, however I thought the material would be solid glass but it felt more like a mixture of plastic and glass if there is such a thing. It is definitely a cute gift.

Super cute but one of them leaks into the outer cup. I ordered for my 9 year old's birthday. She put cherry soda in it and it looked so adorable! But now there is sticky cherry soda stuck in the outside cup and no way to get it clean. It now just looks dirty. The other cup seems to be fine and had no defect. BTW this leak must have been VERY minor as we didn't notice it right away but either way the outcome is a gross looking outer glass.

These are gorgeous in person but too small for a real drink. Only good for maybe a shot glass. So very bulky that way.Still... they're mermaid tales so I gave them an extra star.

very nice actually - however after about a year the seam at the lip came apart just enough to let liquid in around the mermaid :) Still using it and still liking it!

Very pretty and good quality. The inside area for the wine is VERY small though. Hopefully mine don't have leaks as I was told that's fairly common

This delicate glass is lovely to sip port or some other sipping liquor out of. I personally wouldn't use it for wine because I like a huge glass, but for sipping liquor it is perfect.At the original time of review my husband placed one of the glasses in the dishwasher (not recommended) and some water filled the space between the tail and glass. I've been in contact w/customer support and they have been very supportive (quite impressed) and are going to fix that slight problem with the glass. In the meantime, I recommend handwashing only.Packaging was also excellent, box was firm and cup was securely packaged in styrofoam.

Cutest glasses ever. The reservoir is small but I love them anyway!

Super cute but... After washing them once, water has accumulated inside. It eventually dried and now the inside walls are spotty and blotchy.
