Bought this along with a number of other “science toys” for my son. What arrived was what was shown and works perfect. You can put other things in the dish, but they need to be on the smaller side.

Product was as represented; an inexpensive little toy that would provide some (not hours of) amusement. My son saw one on a video and liked it. I purchased it as a Christmas gift. It came in a plastic mailing envelope. When I opened the plastic, the mirascope's box was totally smashed and misshapen. Both side flaps were open and the box itself was smashed and wrinkled. The 'scope must be very sturdy; surprisingly, it survived intact and works (to the extent that it actually does much of anything). If it were a present for someone outside the family, I would have been embarrassed by the state of the box and returned it.

Very disappointed with this product. The optical illusion did not work the same as similar units that I have seen elsewhere. Well it did sort of work, you had to be in just the right spot and it still wasn't very good. Cheap material poor quality causes the reflection to not be where it needs to be for the optical illusion to work

Not quite as nice as i was hoping for. If you're not at the right hight or angle it's useless. Gave it to my son.

Good Quality of illusion or magic trick toy good for kids or adults.

Easy to use and lots of fun. Kids love it!!

Arrived in bad shape. Out of the box, the mirror surface was completely covered in scratches and fingerprints.
