This comes with two pieces-the viscose cover that goes next to and encases the mattress and the breathable mattress zip around cover. Both are so nice. It adds what feels like a very comfortable, cushy layer on top of the mattress. I’m very pleased with it.

We love the Newton mattress and breathable mattress cover. It's easy to clean, and best of all, we don't worry if we wake-up to our baby sleeping on her stomach because of the breathable cover. I would highly recommend this to any new parent!

Does not fit our Restoration Hardware crib like I would like. It's entirely too snug, forcing the edges to bend slightly. It's coverable with bumper pads for now, but when we put the baby in the crib and remove those, it'll be noticeable. I do like that it's breathable and didn't smell at all when we received. I'll update my post once the baby sleeps on it.

We have been co-sleeping and now that our baby is 3 months it was time to go to the crib. He naps on his tummy and I wanted a mattress that he could continue to sleep on his stomach without worry. The first night we put him in the crib, he slept 7 hours. Everytime we lay him down, he is comfortable and sleeps soundly. This mattress is a great investment!

I was very careful to follow the washing instructions and took it out of washer to dry as soon as wash was done to not let it get odor. Before I could even put it in the dryer, I noticed there was huge hole in the mattress cover. Terrible. I didn’t even use it, I just washed it before using it and now it’s saying I can’t even return it so I’m stuck with this ripped mattress cover. Fun times.

Expecting our first great grandchild. Wanted his mom to be able to replace cover quickly to wash so our great grandson could get right back in his crib.

This has been a life saver! My 4-month old daughter loves to sleep on her tummy (even though I always put her to sleep on her back) and recently has been burrowing her head in the mattress and sleeping face down. I was always staring at the monitor and rushing in to move her so getting no sleep. She is also sleeping in longer stretches now - she used to wake up every 1-2/hours but now she can go 3-4/hours.

Breathable and firm. Baby sleeps soundly and I don’t have to worry about him smushing his face into it. Baby sweats on any other material but doesn’t on this.
