The Domestic Revolution Explained (England's Living History) (Paperback)
The book is most interesting and for my age group very nostalgic. As I am now 84 (born in 1925) I can remember gas lighting, the electrification of my parents house, and have seen the development of electrical appliances joined up with the rise of supermarkets (freezers, fridges, etc). It is a small book, easy to read quickly and should be of interest to both young and old - it is social history at its best!.
