OneidaFlatware Flight Dinner Spoons, Set of 4

It is hard to find good suitable dinner spoons. These are excellently designed and manufactured. They are graceful and functional. They feel excellent in the hand, ergonomic. Not all spoons are equal. These are built well and the edges are polished nicely. Except for the very point area of the spoons, which were sharp at the edges around the tip of the spoons. I suspect this is because spoon designers know that discerning customers require a dinner spoon that is sharp at the tip for cutting into specialty foods and deserts. It is notable that the rest of the spoon is polished and the sides of the spoon do not pose a threat of cutting the sides of your mouth.I used a small diamond impregnated round file to polish off the sharp edges at the tip of each of the dinner spoons. I prefer them polished and not sharp.In conclusion these are notably good spoons. I only like certain dinner spoons. These spoons were purchased with low expectations. My initial impression was even unremarkable but after my first use I discovered great appreciation for these high quality spoons.I evaluated the spoons based on functionality and overall quality. I do not use a matching silverware set. I purchase the knives that I want and they never match anything else. I use high quality unmatched silverware sets. I'm happy to find nice items to add to my collection. Discarding lesser quality designs.

I bought this style of spoons 25 years ago. Still have them! I've been looking to get more since. They are light, comfortable, and most importantly the right size!

I have this pattern and have absolutely loved it. It is a great weight and feels good in your hand. These larger spoons are a perfect addition to my flatware.

I purchased this brand/style of flatware when we got married 27 years ago. I LOVE that I can still get replacement pieces to match my set. Still love the look and feel of these... they do not feel light or cheap. I would definitely recommend.

Ordered these to supplement my everyday flatware in the same pattern. I saw that, even new, they were no brighter than the "original" silverware.

These work fine, I put them in my travel trailer. Lighter weight than I would have liked but will be fine.

This item has class. Adds elegance to any setting.

I was thrilled to find my flatware was still available from my wedding registry 25 years ago. I was able to get extra spoons and forks to replace the ones that have disappeared.

I’m not sure where my spoons have gone but they were dwindling so had to order replacement ones and like my mom before me, I like the Oneida brand. They stand the test of time. I couldn’t find True Rose anywhere so I just settled for these. They are average size. They’re not awkward to hold/use. I think they’re a bit smaller than my rose set but they will do the job. Better than buying cheap ones. I recommend.

I have been using this flatwear for at least 20 years. I purchased these th increase the number in the set. They are sturdy, dishwasher proof and elegant in design
