Fits my tactical stock seems decent quality
This was a good fit for my shotgun with a weird tactical stock. I have a Stevens 320. It's a strange model without the pistol grip that has a "tactical" stock that is thinner than typical and the traditional elastic Style shell carriers slide off. This didn't fit perfectly, but I won't remove any stars because that's not the products fault, it's my stock that is difficult to fit. If you have a Stevens 320 with this thinner tactical stock on it, this fits. You can only fit 5 shells comfortably because the straps cover up a couple of the shell holders though, so keep that in mind. Still quite functional and seems to be of good quality for the money.

Secure carrier.
I decided on this One Tigris because it has a back strap (wraps around the recoil pad) to hold the carrier in place. The regular neoprene/elastic wrap around style sold by UncleMike's and others do not stay in place--they will slide forward unless you place some type of silicone adhesive on the inside. Also, after about a year, mine had lost its elasticity. One was issued to me along with a department shotgun, after a year or so I ripped it off and tossed it into the trash. In short, my experience proved to me they are unreliable. This One Tigris model is securely held in place by the back strap and adjustable velcro securing straps. Yes, the front strap is a bit long. I'll accept that considering the carrier is securely held in place. Shells are secure enough in their holders. Carrier DOES clear the sling stud on the Remington 870. A word of caution though: if any neoprene/elastic holder is left loaded or tightly wrapped on a stock for a long period of time (year or more) and not touched, it will likely lose some of its elasticity. And yes, it is made in China. Quality is fine in my opinion.

Simple solution for holding extra shells
Pros: Well priced, arrived quickly and in good condition as shown online. The holders are snug and secure for 2-3/4" 12g shells, they are not likely to come out by accident or with movement. Material seems durable.Cons: There are two adjustable straps for girth but not one for length so the holder cannot be moved farther/closer from the end of the stock. The two straps for width are just a little long, slightly more on the front strap closer to the trigger where the stock is naturally narrower, as they wrap all the way around to the point where they touch where the shell protrudes on 4 shell slots - Anything with a stock more narrow than a Remmington 870 may have slack, if you prefer to pull shells out of the top of the holder they could catch the velcro on those 4 slots, and also if 3 1/2" shells are used it could interfere slightly if you wanted the shells centered in the slots.

Best option for traditional stocks
As others have noted, the front strap is unnecessarily long. I solved this by folding it in on itself and five staples. The strap that fits over the butt keeps the whole thing in place better than anything else I've seen. Any "universal" add-on will need some sort of fitment, and dealing with the too-long front strap was easy. The shell loops are snug on 12ga, no chance of shells slipping out. I also selected this because it is held on with straps, leaving my antiquated slit-in-stock sling adapter available for use; whereas a sleeve-type model, as most shell holders are, would have covered the slit.

Ideal for the Magpul SGA Stock
This is a ideal fit for the Magpul SGA stock on a Mossberg. My only criticisms are that it covers the sling mounting points on the right side (when held) of the stock, though that's to be expected. I was still able to utilize the left side QD point, which is very useful. Also, holding 7 rounds is attractive but it can crowd the wrist as one aims the shotgun. Aside from those two minor issues, I'm thrilled to have found a shell holder that will work nicely with the SGA. Highly recommended and works as expected.

Its a good shell holder . . . except for the elastic over the butt plate
This is a well built stock shell holder; heavy nylon. I did return it; however, because the elastic that goes over the butt of the stock is about two inches too long. I took it to a local tailor who had a sewing machine strong enough to make some adjustments. Unfortunately, the cost to fix it was more than the cost of the item itself. Bottom line is that if you want this for a hunting shotgun, or some other application where you are not rushed to get the shells, it will work. If you want this for a tactical application, and you need the shell holder to be locked down, look elsewhere.

Excellent product after alterations.
I had been searching for a high capacity, close fitting butt stock shotshell holders for some time and I didn't have any luck until I came across these ones made by Tactical Tailor. Before I bought this shell holder I was made aware there were fit issues on certain stocks by reading the previous buyers reviews, so I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't fit the stocks on my Mossberg 590A1 Mariner and 500 Persuader ( both with standard stocks ) very well either. However, I did like the shell capacity and the close fitting profile of these shell holders, so I took a chance and bought two of them. Sure enough, the forward strap was too long ( as mentioned by others ), but I took them into a tailoring shop and they were easily altered to fit properly. Having spent so much time and energy trying to find the kind of shotshell holders that I wanted, it made the extra cost acceptable to get something that worked the way I wanted it to and I am very happy that I did. From my personal experience, I would say that these shot shell holders were designed for use with the MAGPUL buttstock only, but can easilybe adapted to the more traditional style of stock if desired.
