It was easy to install and the hinges were better built than the old one

Had no issues with installing it on my machine. Just wish I could have gotten white instead of chrome or whatever this color is. Color doesn’t impact the use of it. Pretty decent price.

This part is the only way to replace the poorly designed LG side kick latch hinge pin (LG designed a straight wall stress concentrating hinge pin that is bound to fail) Would give 5 stars but packaging from seller was poor - simply very thin bubble pack envelope inside an over-sized box (allowing part to bang around). No instructions on how to install were included, but can be found on YouTube and is very intuitive using two small screw drivers to release the pins

Make sure you confirm model# for compatability, mine is a perfect fit for my sidekick we bought 6 years ago

This item popped right on and doesn’t leak. What more could you want?

Original part somehow broke after about 4 years of use. This replacement part was identical to the original and super easy to install. Sidekick is back up and running like nothing ever happened.

Note to self, make sure it snaps shut and open it correctly so you don't break it. That is how I broke the original door. Laziness. This replacement worked perfectly and I have been trained on how to open and shut it correctly.
