PUR CRF950Z Genuine Replacement Filter for Pitcher Water Filtration System (Pack of 3)

We've been using the  PUR DS-1800Z 2-Stage Water Dispenser  for more than 2 years now and, in my view, it's the most convenient and effective water filtration system. If the dispenser is what makes the package convenient, it's the filter that makes it effective.As far as I can tell, the 40-gallon replacement suggestion is way too conservative. We found that the water as as odor-free and fresh-tasting after 3 months of use as it did after one month. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of water and the filter's life. I believe that we replace filters after about 3 months.These filters are:- inexpensive- effective- easy to replaceSome may not like the fact that there is no indicator showing when it's time to replace the filter.By the way, I must say "thank you Amazon" for helping me always pick the right consumables for the items I buy from Amazon. All it takes is to go back to the listing for the Two-Stage dispenser and Amazon immediately shows me exactly which filter I am going to need. Life is a little less complicated this way.

The Pure 2-Stage water filters are decent and do what they claim as far as making your water not only taste better but remove impurities. I have a large water filter that uses these and now when I run out of filters, we refuse to drink the tap because it tastes way worse than we realized! So keeping these on hand in a must for my family. These do come with stickers so you can chart how soon each one will need replacing by looking at the dial which states the date you put a new one in and shows how long it should be good for. I try to change mine at the mark where it get's red, but if not we CAN taste a difference.However, they do clog. I don't know why or what the drama is but it's not a good morning when I find out that the water I filled the pitcher with is still sitting on the top and remaining unfiltered. And...NO! This doesn't happen to every filter but still without fail at least one in the box will do this and on occasion they all do.It also needs to be mentioned this doesn't happen when it's brand new, nor does it happen when it's old and ready for a change. This usually happens randomly after it's been working just fine and way before it's time to change. My solution has been to take it out and shake is like crazy. This can be make easier by listening to a really good song while doing it but whatever your chosen shaking method, after a couple minutes pop that bad boy back in the filter and if possible fill it with that squirt hose (the thing you squirt your hubby with when he asks when dinners done while your still working on lunch dishes) If that doesn't work, take it out, rinse under the tap and repeat the shake. I don't typically have to do it again, but occasionally you get a stubborn one. It may work perfect after that from anywhere from a week all the way until it's time to replace but DON'T THROW IT AWAY if it clogs. That's not fun, then you have only regular tap...and tap is not cool unless it's a dance!So while yes, I would recommend these for any Pur water pitcher that requires them and I also keep buying them, they do have their flaws but it's not anything a few silly dance moves in the kitchen can't fix.

I purchased these filters for my PUR pitcher. I have been buying them (until now..) at Walmart and paying more for them. I found them here by accident (well, sort of..). I set off looking because the price seemed to be ever increasing and the product was staying the same. I guess I should expect that by now, considering my age is more advanced than at any other time in my life.!!In any event, these filters exhibit perfect fit and function. They seem to be first line product (not seconds or rejects..??) and yet they are significantly less expensive than identical filters for sale at retail establishments across the area. I won't comment further on their quality of suitability for purpose. I think that goes without saying. These filters are replacements for PUR filter CRF 950Z which is the standard filter in use for PUR water pitchers.If you need replacement water filters for your PUR pitcher (or ??) these seem to make a lot of sense. They appear to be first quality... they are in quantity of three (3)... and they are significantly less expensive than seemingly identical filters that are available at local suppliers.As a consumer, this is a no-brainer. Same product + less money = purchase decision. Five stars for a great value. Highly recommended.!

There's only one filter for the price of three. Ridiculous. I'd rather take my chances drinking it raw.

Found these filters we use all the time at a great savings. Delivered on time and as described. Very pleased.

These filters are great......rather than changing them every 3 months, I change them every six months . The water in our city is quite good and other than silt in the water sometimes, it's pretty clean. It does take the chlorine smell out of the water as well as anything else that may taste or smell funny. Very good filters.I Would buy another Pur pitcher again, no problem .
