Great idea
What a great idea for a little one who loves dinosaurs… I got this for our 6 y/o grandson. He loved it, BUT, all tge dinosaurs were clumped together. This whole egg and they we’re almost touching each other. Tge egg was also about 1/3 the size as shown.

Amazing!
My son has never been more ecstatic! This Jumbo Dino Diggers egg was an absolute phenomenal success. He’s always been a great dinosaur fan, be it movies, books or toys. But the Jumbo Dino Diggers Egg really nailed it from all realms. It supplies lots of fun for a long while during the dig and chiselling of all 12 dinos, it is very educational and informative thanks to the 12 beautiful colourful cards with lots of facts and info.He really got into the science, archaeology and paleontology aspect and really took on seriously the explorer role and had a blast of a time doing so.The added poster is a fantastic bonus, I was immediately requested to hand it in his room, he loves staring at it trying to identify the dinos shown. The egg is packed very nicely, the package is extremely well detailed and eye colourful, I’d recommend this to any kid, boy or girl alike, such a great active and engaging toy anyone would love, especially dinosaur fans!!Perfect choice for a gift or present for any occasion.Education and whole lotta fun!!!

Dino Dig
Bought this egg for my daughter for her birthday and when I recieved the package the box was falling apart and appears that the "new" toy had been previously opened. If this was a gift for anyone other then my own daughter i would not be thrilled to give it to someone looking as if it was used.. After her party I will update the review of the toy itself. Update: The egg itself was really cool and came with 12 dinosaurs that my daughter could dig out like fossils. Awesome gift for dino lovers.

A Blast for any Tiny Paleontologist!
This was perfect as an 'Easter Bunny' gift for my two boys! I got one for both of my boys and they had a blasted opening them. The poster is actually a different size and the dinosaur facts match the mini dinosaurs you find throughout the egg. Plus the tools to 'excavate' the dinosaurs are included. My only complaint it that one of the eggs suggestes to soak the egg in water for 5 mins in order to make it easier to dig through. It works to soften the egg but the material turns into a clay and makes a huge mess. Nothing damaging but I would suggest laying down some towels. I would also suggest to instead use a spray bottle to soak the egg a little at a time or don't soak the egg for the whole 5 mins.

Disappointed
The egg was fun for my 4 year old grandson to dig into, but also disappointing because the dinosaurs were so small and very cheap. It was not worth the price

Great classroom activity
I used this with my classroom of Pre-k students. They loved it. First we guessed what the egg would contain and charted their responses. I then put the egg in a container and each child took turns pouring a small amount of water on the egg, they could see it softening and excitedly began to take turns using the provided tools to chisel away at the outside of it. When they began to uncover a small dinosaur they were beyond excited and each child got to carefully extract their own dinosaur ( I have a class of 12 students). They then matched the dinosaur they found with one of the provided trading cards. Some even named their dinosaur and made a home for it. Great activity! Great product! I will definitely purchase another to repeat this activity next year.

Fun for kids
I loved the product for the most part there was only one disappointing aspect . It was easy to dig into but the unfortunate thing was all the dinosaurs were all clumped together in the top of the egg , so there was a huge bottom portion left . My nephew loved it .
