A basic flashlight for inside the home
I have found the Ray-o-Vac sleek series 60 lumen flashlight the best flashlight to keep at bed-side at night-and I'll explain why. Because it is metallic you are able to notice it in complete darkness. It has a rubber-coated button to turn it on that you can feel without having to play with or look at the device. And it is plenty bright to see your was in the dark without lighting up the entire house. One more thing for safety. I also have powerful flashlights that get very "hot" upon use, and would not feel comfortable placing a hot flashlight next to my bed (or on my bed) after I've used it to guide me in the dark.This one doesn't seem to ever get hot. I'm jettisoning my other flashlights and have 3 of these.

Rayovac Small Flashlight
One of my all-time favorite flashlights. Small, handles well, and top button to turn on and off works flawlessly. My only negative is that the plastic packaging had obviously been opened previously.

Buy it. At 4.88 its a steal.
Buy it. At 4.88 its a steal. Great small size. Bright LED bulb. Be alert - if you are gifting this sometime in the future remember that the batteries come inside the flashlight. I don't yet know the durability or the battery life.

Got 7 and 4 didn’t work! Got 3 replacements and 2 didn’t work. Forget this one!

I liked this so well that I replaced it with the same one and bought one for my daughter in law .

Nite lite.

Light Irregularly or not at all
Price was doubled but I bought a number of these flashlights, some from another seller. Within a short time ( even with fresh batteries) they either don't light at all or light irregularly. Not reliable in general.

batteries leak or explode inside the package
that the batteries had leaked or exploded into the product, ordered this Mar 14th of this year so this must be old stock that is being sold off to customers, and i passed my window of return on April 17.will not be ordering any RayOVac product from Amazon.
