It’s not a bad guide; but somewhat repetitive. I’m a little disappointed at paying what I did for a book that isn’t even proof read for grammatical errors before being published.-Run on sentences-Bouncing back and forth between actual numbers, and spelled out numbers. Pick one.-Entirely wrong verbiage and words.-Contradicting information.

If you're interested in getting your CDL this book covers all the information. I read it cover to cover 4 times and took my test on February 15, 2019 and passed the first time in all three sections air brakes, combination vehicles, and general knowledge. Well worth it.

It reads better than the CDL book from the DMV. Really thorough. I passed all my tests on the first try. I recommend this book for sure.

Overall a very good book, clearly written and easy to understand. My only complaint is there are several obvious editing errors which could have been easily corrected with one good proof reader. Other than that, a good book.

I bought the book for my dad and he loved it. He said it helped him more than the online guides he found. He was able to pass his CDL with no issues.

My feedback is positive it has a good layout but I really needed a index and a glossary, this addition would make this guide a solid 5 in my opinion.

I loved the book. It was a great comprehensive overview of the CDL and how to pass. I loved the test prep sections and practice tests as well as the answers and explanations. It was very well written and easy to follow along.

The guide is easy to understand and follow. The tips are a great help as is the CDL Practice Test. I am reading the guide now for a second time. I enjoyed reading and learning one-step at a time.
