Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Lacquer, Alluring Rose.23 Fluid Ounce

Others have complained about how matte and thick it is. This is perfect for nail stamping. I bought this based on a recommendation from a nail blog that it is the best color for gold stamping polish. I've tried several different gold polishes and they are all too shimmery. Konad doesn't do gold and silver metallic colors too well, but this is perfect for stamping. I'm back to buy a couple more bottles. Hope they don't discontinue it!

This polish is the exact shade of gold I was looking for (not too yellow). It applies evenly and dries to be very metallic and glossy. My only complaint is that it chips relatively easily without a top coat.

This is a very pretty metallic silver green color. Just used it and went on very smoothly, nice flow. The first layer went on very very shear but I only needed two coats. You could most definitely get a darker look with a third layer or a colored base coat.However, the multi color effect shown in the photos don't show up in real life. Since this was the very reason I picked this polish, I only gave 3 stars. I really wanted to see the purples, blues and green together in the multichrome colors but I can only see a sea foam -ish green. Very beautiful, very shimmery,- I don't normally wear green polish but I love the color. If it actually had the other colors in it as well, I would wear it all the time.

Really like this nail polish have been using it for years on my toes. I usually do 2 coats but honestly could do one. Nice and thick coats without being “gloopie” Nicely covers any imperfections your nails may have.

I purchased this simply to add gold to my collection of nail polishes. When I used it, I found what I had purchased was a holographic polish that is more than just a gold color. I am very happy with the purchase.

this was like watered down polish. this is a very light color and when it's watery, it looks just like clear polish. not happy with this purchase.

I don't get where the "holographic" part comes in, but this polish has a bold metallic finish which is immediately eye-catching. I purchased this mainly for stamping, but used it as a nail colour for a party. I was running late and did not apply a topcoat... like another reviewer mentioned it chips relatively easily without coverage. I had not noticed that before then because when I stamped I always used a topcoat and never had a problem. also, when used for stamping, the polish is very difficult to remove from the plate unless 100% acetone-soaked cotton is laid on it for at least a minute.
