I’m so impressed with this mixology kit! It has everything you could possibly need to make amazing cocktails at home. The gunmetal black color is elegant and modern, and all the tools are well-made. This kit was worth the extra. Compared to other kits it had more tools and a nicer stand. The finish was brushed which I wanted but I was worried it would look too shiny and plastic. I was surprised the stand was solid wood painted black I thought it would be plastic also. I planned on keeping this in the cabinet but over all decided to display it in my counter. The only thing I will say is there was a piece that didn’t have spot in the holder but did have a slit for another strainer. That confusion isn’t a bid deal for me.

This bar set has all the equipment you'll need to make a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I personally was initially looking for just a decent quality muddler and Boston Shaker, which this set contains, but I found the strainer and bottle spouts to be useful as well. The bar knife is...well, you could probably cut butter with it, but not a lot else. I use a regular kitchen paring knife for cutting any fruit or anything I need, but if the bar knife is important to you you might want to look elsewhere. The set is very attractive and works well. The muddler in particular is very nice with a textured end that is great for muddling fruits like strawberries and even works well for tougher items like jalapeno slices or mint leaves. The only real downside is the finish...I purchased the Gunmetal finish, and after the very first use there was already some wear on the shaker cups. As shown in the photos, the underlying silver is already clearly visible around the edges. So far its only the contact points on the shaker cups that are showing wear, all the other items are still in pristine condition, but if I were to purchase again I'd just go with the plain silver finish. I'd expect that to last longer.

Looks amazing!!! Washes well no rust. This my first bar kit so I feel like it was a great value and quality. I would recommend adding a mixing class to the set but we can worry about later.
