Awesome addition to the monsterverse comics! Only thing I dislike, is how Kong looks on the cover, like a meathead lol no neck his hands and feet aren’t proportionate to his body lol

Really loved the art and the story behind it that lead to Godzilla vs Kong

For those who saw GvK and wondered how Skull Island got to the way it is in the beginning of the film, this prequel comic explains it. The story follows Audrey Burns, a pilot who suffered a traumatic experience during the events of G:KOTM. She is recruited to be part of a team for a potential Hollow Earth exploration in Skull Island. However, a shadow makes its way to the island threatening to plunge it in eternal darkness. As a now fully-grown Kong makes his stand, Audrey confronts her past as both face a common enemy, the Mayan bat god Camazotz.Artist Mohammad Yazid aka “Zid”, who previously did “Skull Island: Birth of Kong”, returns to bring life to this tale. His art style is breathtaking, seemingly like paintings one expects to see in a museum. The use of lighting is especially striking, going from a picturesque, lovely day of the lush Skull Island to the grim, unforgiving realm of the antagonist. For much of the first half, there’s an ominous foreboding dread that creeps into the narrative for both Audrey and Kong, which pays off big time once the conflict takes center stage. Audrey herself I’d say is a good lead. The book takes time to show how her trauma affects her, putting her at odds with her new team and her superiors, and is presented with the challenge of confronting that pain head-on. This coincides with Kong, whose status as Skull Island’s ruler is put into question by factors outside his control. Houston Brooks from the films makes a welcome return as we see Kong's status observed from his detailed perspective, but beyond that there isn't much to the side characters. And then we have Camazotz. This nightmarish ghoul is easily one of the most memorable villain kaiju in the Monsterverse, not only sporting a rugged look that screams ancient terror, but proves to be a tough opponent for the 8th Wonder. It all leads to the exciting, well-balanced climax featuring savage monster brawling and an emotionally-charged military engagement. An issue I have is that there seems to be an inconsistency regarding the fate of the Iwi, which apparently the novelization of GvK clears up.I certainly had a better time with “Kingdom Kong” than I did the previous prequel Kong comic. There's a good mix of human drama with monster action, and I found the art style pleasing. All in all, worth your time.

A perfect prequel to 'Godzilla vs. Kong'. A must-read!

I loved the action and planes and the big monster not kong but the other one forgot name but awesome book I'm 10 and I loved it good people who like the movies

The story is very good and the art is excellent. If you want to see kong fight a giant bat monster this is for you.

Great art, story, perfect pre kong movie story

Me ha gustado, me ha llegado hace una hora, y le he echado una ojeada, para ver como es. El comic está impecable, en buen estado, la impresión es fantástica. Como los anteriores cómics precuela de cada película, no tengo nada que objetar. Me ha gustado los dos nuevos TITANES que aparecen en este cómic. El Camaztoz y el Spirit Tiger. Realizaré un video explicativo y de reseña en mi canal, de este producto, que os lo recomiendo, a los fans de este universo de monstruos.

Another great prequel story for our king after birth of the kong, thoroughly enjoyed the human character and kong discovering his arch rival in the end........ 🤫🤐 , spoiler alert .
