Wrangler, Levi's, and Lee's comparison roundup
I bought a pair each of regular fit, straight leg, zipper fly Levi's, Lee, and Wrangler jeans. The Levi's(505) were $40, the Lee's $32, and the Wrangler's $20. I washed all of them once, in cold water. They all fit about the same. The construction seems to be about the same too. All had 5 belt loops and reinforced the same points. They all were about the same weight denin. One difference I could find was that the Levi's had two rivets on the coin pocket while the Lee's and Wranglers had one rivet there and sewed the other side of the coin pocket into the main pocket seam. Also, the Levi's print your jean size on the outside label, while the Lee's and Wranglers do not. Both the Levi's and Lee have a double stitched external inseam on the inside of the legs and a concealed inseam on the outside of the legs. The Wranglers reversed this with the concealed inseam on the inside and a double stitched seam on the outside. The length of the inseam, compared to the advertised length, was pretty close, with the Lee's being the longest, and the Wranglers the shortest.Overall, I would say they all three pairs look like they will be fine over the longer term. So perhaps the price difference and your preference for brands might be the deciding factor.

5 Stars at the Price
A couple of preliminaries here. I was friends with someone that used to work at a factory that would sew different name brands on the same clothing before even that factory went overseas. So I'm less addicted to the name of a product line than a particular product that is made at the time. I've worn well and far over a hundred jeans (dungarees for the less metrosexual of us over my far too many years). The only jean that I ever cried over was a very expensive Italian dress jean purchased years ago at Neiman Marcus. For jeans under 90 dollars I've found in general that some of he Wranglers have been truer to size than most others. I understand that someone would be pissed that they received a jean that had a belt loop improperly sewed but this same person worked for a high end retail chain that had to return about 10% of the expensive high-end jeans for defects before being placed on the sales floor. Even then inconsistent sizing was an issue. Barring someone's fascination with the name of a clothing line, with few exceptions I really don't see much of a difference in quality between this 7 loop jean and a jean costing twice or more from other manufacturers including some (which is an irritant) from this same company. Unless someone is looking for a particular type of fit IMO the price justifies the purchase of this jean. I can beat the hell out of it, tear it up, put holes in it and not cry about it because 19 bucks for a decent fitting jean is CHEAP in this market. So what if there may be a defect in it. Return it and get another one. For me that's easier to stomach than having to return one costing much more and having to worry how much wear I'll get out of it. Cheap is good sometimes and not an exact indicator of quality. When I've done heavy duty work that puts more wear & tear pressure on the jean I've tended towards Carhartt. Great jean for wear & tear but an uncomfortable fit (for me) for every day casual & light work wear. As far as shrinkage goes, I wash all my clothing in cold water or dry clean it so I've never had a problem. How someone can wash anything cotton, whether Sanforized or not in hot water and not expect an issue is beyond me.

Good Price Point
As other reviewers have stated..I went to these Wranglers because Levi changed the design of the 505 jean which I had worn for over 30 years. The Wrangler Authentic Regular that I received has 7 belt loops, that is one of my criteria for a purchase. The photo shown only has 5 loops. The long cut for the crotch, typical of the Wrangler brand, is still present, and may take getting used to by some. I find the front pockets a tad on the shallow side. The Wrangler Riggs WorkGear pants have a deeper pocket. For those with a bit of a beer gut, the waste line on these may be too tight, they are cut different than say the Dockers brand.I am happy with the thickness of the denim, and quality of the construction. The price point is Fantastic at about $20 US, which is half the cost of Levi or the Riggs WorkGear.I wear these in mostly an office or casual setting, as I have old or other pants for working outside.

These are great and at the current price of $16
I buy these for my 16 year old son who is 6'2 and hard to find jeans that fit him well. These are great and at the current price of $16.09, they can't be beat. He has both the regular fit and the relaxed fit and there is a noticeable difference. The relaxed, as you can guess, are baggy. He likes both but is not picky about his clothes. They last a long time and don't seem to fade much with weekly washings. I've been buying the Wrangler brand for years and they hold up well.

Avoid Poor Quality Fabric
I had these jeans for 60 days for work.Basically I am standing all day assembling products. The Jeans are ripped by the top of the rear pockets where they are sewn to the pants. What a weird place to rip, looks like the fabric is shredded.

Waist Is 2 Inches too small
The waist is about 2 inches too small. I ordered 34x32, This the size of my other jeans is 32x32 and these I can barley squeeze into. Trying to stretch them out by squeezing soup cans into the waistband. Very uncomfortable but seems to be working a little bit. Otherwise the length is perfect. They seem like good quality jeans. I just got these yesterday. Will post updates as time goes on, or maybe I will return them. I have 30 days to try them.

Thought I was a "regular" guy but apparently not
I'm not sure who these "Regular Fit" jeans are intended for, but I think if you have any semblance of a butt or something other than pipe cleaners for thighs, I don't you'll be happy with these. These jeans had no room in the butt, through the thighs or in the crotch. And before we think that I had picked up the wrong size, I'll say that the waist was fine or every a little loose. Good news is that there's also a "Relaxed Fit" version of these jeans from Wrangler and they're the same $20. Those worked for me just fine (except they are a little long) and for $20 you can hardly go wrong. These are good looking, comfortable jeans offered in a number of different colors.

Good value for, what I believe to be, a near copy?
So, as I understand it "Wrangler Authentics" are not genuine "Wranglers" but a close copy. Though I know this only from other reports here. My experience of my first pair would tend to confirm this. They look good and feel good as Wranglers but shape and feel do not last as long as the "genuine" article. But the fit and cut are so close as to make little difference and the price makes them an affordable copy whereas the cost of the "genuine" article is currently out of my budget reach. So buy with confidence but remember these may not be the genuine article.....

Not sure if it is a fake
I have ordered 2 in blue from Amazon and they are excellent quality. The one in black the denim does not feel as soft as the blue, and the black denim is a bit coarse. The blue ones are soft. I am not sure if this black one is genuine and would not buy again.UPDATE: I purchased these from the Amazon Global Store assuming that they were sold by Amazon, that way you know you are getting the genuine article. Amazon have confiirmed to me this item from the global store are sourced from thrid party sellers and then sold by Amazon. If its sold and dispatched by Amazon, its always genuine, when you get these third party sellers, then the danger of counterfeits can happen. In this case I am now certain that these jeans are fake. I have put them next to the genuine blue ones and they are completely different in weight, style, denim, quality and feel. I will not be using the global store ever again, sticking to Amazon UK.

Fake or Genuine
Are they FAKE Wrangler reason being the 'W' logo on the back pockets are replaced by horizontal straight lines. If they are not genuine Wranglers how can I give them a 5 star rating. would love a response. Waste of money.
Nothing like genuine Wranglers. The legs are too long. The outside leg measurement is actually longer than the inside leg measurement which is actually an inch longer than stated. Bad tailoring. The leg width at knee height is wider than Wranglers making the jeans look baggy, The bottom of the legs is narrower than genuine Wranglers making the jeans look tapered. I gave one star for the waist measurement being correct.

An absolute steal!
I've bought these as a gift so cannot comment on fit or lasting wear, but they look good and authentic and appear good quality (thick, strong material). These are the best prices wranglers on the market and included delivery, an absolute steal! Will be 5 stars if they last once worn and washed.

Lesson learned !
They have been returned,. Cost me 17 pounds, not as advertised, not wranglers , cheap and nasty , will be a lot more careful with my buying from now on, best to see and try on , I have used Amazon for years, and always got god value, but things seem to have changed, since Amazon started selling for other sellers, . Further to what I have just written, I have just been notified that I will get a complete refund, including postage, thank you Amazon .

Good quality and fit
I do prefer Wrangler Jeans to other makes although I seem to have a problem finding the correct sive. I am a 36 waist 32 leg. I used to buy Wranglers at Matalan for a good price but they no longer stock them so I searched on Amazon instead. Couldn't find the right size in a blue denim but found the khaki in the correct size.( I am not a fashion victim and colour really doesn't bother me). Strides are comfy and fit well. I will buy again in the future.

Not the best Wranglers I've purchased...
I've always liked and owned Wrangler jeans, but these are the first ones that I've been disappointed with. The main thing that I am not pleased about is that they are VERY stiff, even after washing them. It's like putting on pants made of 50% cotton & 50% cardboard. I do heavily rely on customer reviews when purchasing items, but they seemed pretty positive when I placed the order, so I felt the need to write this review, so that others can benefit. I am going to return these and find an alternate solution.

Very happy with jeans
Very happy with jeans, size between 34 and 36 so being able to order a 35 was a blessing. Fitted around waist as expected, a huge + considering normal sizes stocked in UK. Quality is good, no faults found of yet and have gone through a few 40oC washes and always tumble dried afterwards. Bought black so can double up for work and casual, fit well with boots. Only down rating as UK s**ty customs holding up delivery as normal, not Amazons fault or supliers but at least bring it to atentions for review readers.

An attractive and professionally produced piece of clothing, at a very reasonable price.
Slightly longer than I expected (I only had to roll it up a bit), but other than that a great fit, using high quality material, and produced with excellent stitching -- a product built to last, even with everyday use.Delivery was faster than expected -- it arrived within a week, despite being sent from California!Looks good, feels good and seems durable -- GO FOR IT !!!

heavy denims
first pair ive had without the iconic w on the back pocket or is that a brit thing? feel the quality of the denim when you pull them on. Just wish you could get them in a 35 waist other than that well worth it, and better than paying a lot more for the red tab rivals

Very good quality jeans at a great price.
Very happy with these jeans. The only thing differing from the description is that they come with a zip fly, not buttons, which in fact is preferable. Extremely good value too.

Very dissapointing
Terrible fit, nowhere near the stated size on the label!Label itself sewn in on an angle, leading me to believe these are not official wranglers, rather a cheap knock off.

Great price, and value!
I like the fact that they are wide in the leg as I'm unable to wear UK supplied Jeans are now skinny leg jeans. Also the fact that these are Black, and it not as obvious that they are jeans.
