At first this hose was great - finally a no-kink product. This one was a 25 footer. I liked it so much that I bought a 50 footer for the boat dock.I used the 25' to connect to my pool level minder, only to return home today to find the hose separated from its connector at the spigot - with water running freely for who knows how long. Just great...UPDATE: Giraffe tools immediately offered a full refund which is much appreciated! Their 50' hose is still performing perfectly. Thank you for standing by your product!

My gardens are my zen spaces. I consider my plant watering "aqua therapy". However, moving heavy hoses around has always been a big chore! Every hose I've owned has been heavy & burdensome. A friend recommended this hose to me. So after a little research, I purchased it in August, 2021. The product info was impressive; claiming to be lightweight, strong/durable & kink free. I purchased a 25' hose. However, after about 10 months of use, I noticed water spraying out due to a very small, almost pin- sized puncture hole. Long story short I contacted Giraffe Tools. Their customer service is amazing! They responded immediately asking for a picture of the damaged hose. In no time at all the hose was replaced. Grace at Giraffe Tools followed up until the very end. Here was a company that wanted to insure that I was a satisfied customer. I'm a customer for life. You won't go wrong in choosing this product. It will be money well spent!

Just like everyone else, the end that connects to a spray nozzle came off after 2 months of light use. Now I'm left with a useless hose that can't attach to any nozzles---- Update -----Seller quickly contacted me and offered to replace the broken hose. Updating my score to reflect the quick response and excellent customer service. Hopefully the new hose would last much longer.---- Update 2 ----Replacement hose had the same exact issue. It broker after a couple uses. Do not buy.

Great quality

I read all the critical reviews and I have a theory.... The reason I like this hose so much is that Seattle had an unseasonably cold spring and I needed to use a hose. Of all my different hoses, THIS is the only one that didn't stiffen in 40 degree weather. It performed perfectly in the cold. In the summer, I use it in my shade garden. I don't use it on the sunny side specifically BECAUSE it is black and I don't want to cook my plants while they are still growing! I used my other hoses in the sunny spots. I've had the hose for almost 2 years. It is still "like new". My theory is that this hose does better in the shade. I'm very happy with it since that is where I use it.

We have 3 of these black hoses. For sure they don't kink, but they are very heavy to pull around a yard. See update. I am getting a replacement.Update: The black hose does not wear well. It has a pinhole leak and now a rupture of the outer layer. It is very heavy when you used to water pots and is sticky to handle. I'll be replacing them asap.
