It's a nice decoration for my daughter's room and she is delighted with it. It is fairly cheaply made, so handle with care. The A button is on/off for the white light. The B button cycles between red -> blue -> green -> red+blue -> red+green (Christmas colors!) -> red+blue+green -> all off. To switch it completely off, hit the A button if the white light is on to turn it off and then cycle through the B button until all of the red, green and blue lights are off. The C button is to turn on the rotation. For best effects, take off the white opaque cover and the images will be clear and show up well on the wall and ceiling. You'll only want the white opaque cover if you want to use this lamp as a white or colored night night. For wall plug-in, you'll need a phone charger adapter (iPhone charger does well) to plug into the wall and to plug the USB cable into. You can get these on Amazon, look under "USB Wall Charger Adapter" or use the one that came with your cell phone charger if you aren't using it.

I was not expecting much from this. It was smaller than I expected, but I gave it a whirl due to the good reviews on here. My six year old nephew is a total space nut, and instead of painting an entire galaxy on his walls and ceiling like he wanted, I figured this would be a simpler alternative. When I gave it to him, and he wanted to plug it in right away. It only comes with a USB chord, so you have to find or buy a wall plug-in for it. When we turned it on, it was the greatest thing ever! Very impressed. I figured we'd have to hold it close to the walls to see it, but it shone so bright, it filled the entire room. We were all very impressed. There are plenty of settings and colors, he will never get bored of it. It was so cool, I might get another one for myself. It's small, so it won't take up a lot of room, and quiet if you want to use it as a night light. Lots of colors and combinations, and it spins! I was not let down, and the cool aunt comes through once again for Christmas!! :)

It works really well! The only hiccup is it is either battery or usb powered. We don't have USB outlets in our home but it wasn't a problem for us because I have plenty of of adapter blocks but I'm taking off a star because I feel it should come with one.As far as operating it works great! Beautiful stars and very bright! The picture is a bit blurry because my son likes the rotating feature.We are 1 for 2 of boys falling asleep in the room with it. The 3 year old is thrilled and loves it. The one year old likes it but not enough to actually sleep in his room lol. I do wish it had a timer but it's not a big deal for me to go in and turn it off before I go to bed since my son sleeps with his door open.

I saw one of these on a movie and couldn't resist getting one for myself. Yes, I am adult, but I like to buy fun things like this every once in a while. I really like how many settings there are so it's like you have 20 night lights in one. I also like how it can rotate- the only thing with that is that it does make some noise when it rotates and that might bother some people. I think it is super fun to look at and watch when I am hanging out in bed reading before going to sleep. One other thing I have experienced with this light that might have some weight in a purchase decision is how my pets reacted to this product. I have 2 dogs. One of them couldn't care less about this light and he's perfectly OK with it. However, the other dog will not even come near my room and will stay away until she is sure the lights are gone. It's not like she goes and hides in a corner or anything, but you can tell she doesn't want anything to do with this new contraption I have brought into the house!

I didn't have high expectations for this projector at all! We have been through at least a half dozen projectors for my son's nursery and they all have stopped working or don't do much. I bought this one on a whim and boy am I impressed, especially for the price! It projects onto my sons entire room, both ceiling and all walls. It's very pretty and relaxing.The projector projects stars of different shapes and sizes and a large moon, which sort of looks like 3 different moons. It can rotate or stay static. t has a dome you can put over it so that it doesn't project, but act as a nightlight. It can take 4 AAA batteries or plug in via a USB cable, however it does not come with an adapter to plug into the wall. I have ours plugged into the charger meant for an iPhone and that works just fine. My only complaint is that the cable is really short, making it hard to put it where I actually want to.I was not given anything to write this review; it's just my honest opinion.

My 21 month old son uses it every night for his night light and he loves it. It is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon given how much I use it. The only reason I knocked off a star is there is no off button, you have to cycle through the A button and eventually it turns off. If you need it done quick just take out a battery. That's if you are using batteries only. We went away for one night so we relied on the batteries and they died after one night of full usage. It's best to plug it into the wall. You just need a USB plug adapter which they sell everywhere. My CVS literally has them in a grab bucket at the counter, that's how common they are. If you plug it in it will last you and your kids will enjoy it, it really is adorable!

My child loves this as it really does light up the walls and ceiling with moon and stars. Unfortunately, it quit rotating about 2 months after purchase, which was quite disappointing. I purchased a second one from a different seller, and guess what??? A little more than a month of less than daily use, it no longer rotates either. My son keeps telling me to fix it, but I won't purchase another, knowing it's obviously an issue.I like that you can use it on batteries, but I imagine they wouldn't last long if you run it all night as we do. We keep ours plugged in with the adapter cord that came with it. I'm giving it 4 stars because it pretty spectacular to look at, but so much prettier when it is rotating and the stars and moon appear to be moving.
