Fabulous Product
The colors are beautiful, the fit is superb, the quality is nailed by Amazon once again. I sold cotton textiles for thirty years, I know both fabric and apparel. I was so pleased with the dyed fabric and shirt that I am writing my very first review after being an Amazon customer for years.

Just so-so, go for the regular fit if you're tall and slim.
If you are tall and thin (I'm 6'2", 170, somewhat slim arms) the regular fit is actually better than this slim fit, mainly in that the sleeves of the regular fit are slightly longer and taper down your arm nicely, whereas the slim fit has shorter sleeves which pucker out making an unflatering look. There is not much difference in the body of the slim and regular. Go for the slim fit if you are shorter and have more muscular arms(and still slim). Product shrinks a bit, even in low dryer.

Awkward neckline, loses shape immediately.
I bought this polo without high expectations, given the low price. When it arrived, I was pleased with the overall quality of the material, etc. I put it on, and the fit was unstructured and odd. The neckline is awkward. If you leave the top button open, it exposes way too much chest (IMO). If you close it, well, you have the top button closed on a polo. Wore it once and washed it. If I thought the fit was unstructured before, it completely lost any shape after just one washing. It now hangs in my closet as a failed experiment.

A Fine Shirt Ruined
UPDATE: The pink shirt I bought along with the navy shirt has faded too, in irregular splotches all over the back. I bought these shirts in September and they did not last through the end of the year. When I calculate the cost per wear, I would have been better off buying a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt. Very disappointed. I will not buy any more of these shirts and I advise you not to buy them either.I own several of these Amazon Basics cotton pique polos and I love the fit and feeling of these shirts—and the price is right! However, after wearing this navy shirt on a hot day, I washed it and found that the collar had faded badly at the point where it touched my neck. It's a shame because the color was a perfect navy blue and now the shirt is ruined. I have not noticed this with the other, lighter, colors, so I guess it's a matter of a poor quality blue dye and intend to buy more as long as the colors aren't dark. For my next navy polo I will have to bite the bullet and go with Ralph Lauren. Buyer beware.

Amazing value for this quality.
These are great. Comparable in quality to Bannana Rep. or other such cotton polo. Extremely good value. Here’s the deal with size. Normal slim fit I am a large.... I had to send the large back because it was too large and cut was off for me (as others have said here). I went with medium and the are PERFECT fit. Slim but not hugging, shoulder seam in perfect spot, arms tailored, length perfect. I am 6’1”, 180lb, athletic build and the mediums were an exact fit.

A basic polo; not perfect, but good enough.
I work in a casual office environment, so polos are part of my daily "uniform." I tend to be a bit picky about my clothes from a fit and feel standpoint, but I'm not obsessive. I bought one of these shirts initially as a test, and while I wouldn't call it a perfect polo, it was good enough for me to purchase three more to replace some aging Gap shirts.Fitwise, the shirts are fine. I'm 6 foot, 175 lbs with an average build, and the Medium is exactly what "fitted" shirts should be like: no loose fabric, but not skin-tight. The shoulders and sleeves fit me well, but if I was more muscular I might not be as comfortable. I would prefer if the shirts were just a tad longer, as I generally wear them untucked and being fitted they do ride up a bit when I bend over, but that's to be expected. Tucked in, the shirts are great.Style-wise there's not much to comment on. The shirts are without fillss, but are pretty indistinguishable from more expensive polos I've bought from places like the Gap. I would prefer a three-button collar, but the two button collar isn't a deal-breaker. I wasn't wowed by the color selection, but they have enough range that I was able to find a few that I can live with. I purchased a black, burgundy, hunter green, and yellow, and all but the yellow seemed to match the colors displayed in the listing. The yellow I received was a bolder yellow compared to the pale yellow pictured, but I wasn't disappointed. As far as the quality is concerned, the shirts seem to be well constructed. The stitching is complete and even. The fabric has a tight weave but is a lighter weight than the Gap shirts I own, although it is not see-through, even on the yellow. The fabric is not particularly soft, but it isn't scratchy, either. It does have a slight stretch to it (about 1-2mm/cm). The collar is well formed, but not overly stiff. At this point it's impossible to say how well it will hold up to repeated washings, although I won't be surprised the fabric softens a bit and fades slightly.Overall, the shirts are acceptable quality and fit. I don't think any of them are going to become my new favorites, but if I can get a few years out of them, then they'll be of exceptional value considering their price. Other brands may offer more style or comfort, but initially my opinion is that there is nothing about this shirt that should keep a buyer away.

Slim-fit is what I would call normal compared to the bulky regular-fit
Photos of me: Green shirt with my arm down is the slim-fit being sold on this page. The blue one with my arm up is the regular fit. I posted a *detailed* review of the regular-fit over on its product page. You should check it out if you're on the fence.Photos of just shirts: See end of review for the explanation.I'm 6' 170#, tall and thin. If you are built anything like me or characterize yourself as thin, this slim-fit is the version of the Amazon polo to pick. I started with the regular fit and it was HUGE, way too much fabric. The color is solid and consistent. I've washed them once so far and no problems.I have some concerns about quality over time, the collar and buttons. I'm not sure yet. It's so inexpensive though. If the shirt ends up failing to hold up, I'll update this review. If you don't see an update, it's still going strong!WHAT'S WITH THE PHOTOS OF THE TWO SHIRTS? In addition to other colors, I ordered one large lavender shirt. It turned out to be a lot longer than all the others (see photo). Too long. I sent it back, waited about a week, and ordered again. The second one I got is normal length (see photo). Seems crazy to have that huge a variation but apparently, it happens. I'm keeping the second one.

Better used a a sail than a polo shirt
Terrible fit. Could have got two of me in there. Won’t buy Amazon basics clothing again.
