ARIATwomen's Dixon Western Boot

Instead of showing my brand new boots, I took a photo of these boots after wearing them almost non-stop for a month for everything from trips to town to mucking stalls, from riding horses to watching a newborn foal learn to stand. I’ve walked well over five miles a day, nearly every day, in these boots, have sprayed them off with water and used a bit of conditioned exactly once, and they just get more comfortable and more gorgeous with time. No loose stitches and not a single scuff mark despite being stepped on by both a 1200-lb horse and a newborn foal more than once, jammed between floorboards and cement blocks and being worn while climbing up into hay lofts. These boots are expensive, but like with all Ariat boots I’ve owned so far, that price has a reason: the quality is the best of any brand of boot I’ve owned. I can’t yet speak to their long-term durability, but if they’re like my other Ariats, I’m hoping for at least a couple years’ worth of heavy use out of them — for boots that look this good and can be used for so many different things, that’s pretty good, I think!

I bought the black, size 8, and like all Ariats, they fit PERFECTLY. These do not have the ATS insole but are still very comfortable. The leather sole is very slick, so rough them up on concrete before running across the carpet. Use tall socks to break these in! Your ankles will thank you. These rub the backs of mine, but they're brand new, so nothing unexpected there. The heel is about thr height of a riding heel, possibly a smidge taller.Overall, I absolutely love these booties!

I wear a 8 to 8 1/2. Got 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. My foot is medium width, not narrow. Very comfortable and super stylish with jeans or dresses! Quality leather with beautiful secure stitching all around. I would highly suggest.

Super cute booties but warning the tops can cut you. I have narrow feet and ankles even after a few wears I have ended up with some pretty sore spots on my ankles where the tops have rubbed and cut me, not a blister but a slice.

Literally she asked for these and thank goodness they were on sale at the time. She was really happy with her gift and it was worth every penny.

These boots did not disappoint from the first smell of the leather when I opened the box until I took them off 6 hours after standing at a concert! Love them!

Be prepared to break these in a little. Once you do they are the best and I want another pair! So great to dress up or down.
