Does not work on a fly like the video shows.
The magnets work but will not hold a fly in the right spot. For the right hook, I can see this being a help. As for a fly, it pulls the exposed metal loop up to the magnet and does not hold where the fly is wrapped. With some adjustments, this could be a super valuable tool for my fly gear. The magnets need to be on the bottom piece for a fly.Probably works well for larger hook applications.

Since I'm getting a little older, the eyes aren't as good as they used to be. This really works like is is supposed to!

Does not work for small hooks or curved hooks. Basically useless for fly fishing.
