Works well
Worked well for my purpose. I drilled about one hundred shelf pin holes in a bookcase. It is a big help to have another set of hands to secure the jig while drilling

A buy
Easy to use. Built the shelves for my master closet

Most affordable
It beats using an old strip of line bored plywood from the cnc. The holes won't wallow out. Although, it is easy to drill through the wrong line of holes, even if you think you would never be that absent minded. Still, it's pretty handy for the price. It comes in 2 options for the included bits. I ordered the 1/4 option because it was cheaper and I already had the 5mm self centering bit.

OK for an Inexpensive option - Has Issues
I bought one of the less expensive options because I'll probably only use this once. That being said, I had a number of issues with this product. I gave it a 3, but I really waffled between a 2 and a 3. Consider it a 2.5First - It didn't have any instructions. It's a fairly obvious product, but there are some cryptic markings on it and some info on how to get going would be appreciated. It said somewhere on the package that there were how to videos online which I found. All in all, it's an easy product to use.Second, after drilling about 3 holes, the drill bit assembly fell apart. Apparently the set screw wasn't installed securely. Instructions could have suggested ensuring the set screw was tight. Despite flying apart due to the spring, I was able to find all the pieces and figure out how to put it back together. An extra pair of hands would have been nice for that.Third, the actual process of drilling holes was arduous. About every 2nd or 3rd hole, the bit would clog with wood and keep the bit from retracting into the housing. I'd have to stop and manually clear it out before I could drill again. It seemed a little better towards the end when I'd leave the bit turning when I pulled back out of the hole. Instructions could have suggested this.Last, the guide pin was undersized. I got the 1/4" bit and used the 1/4" pin but it kept falling out. I thought maybe the other pin would be better, but it was smaller than 1/4". I could drill about 1 or 2 holes before the pin would drop out and I'd have to stop and get everything reset. After a few times of that, I got some duct tape and taped the pin into the jig. Then I'd have to remove it to start the next sequence of holes. All in all it got the job done, but it was much more hassle than it should have been. If you need a cheap option for a one-off project, this will work with a little tweaking. If you want a quality jig I'd look elsewhere.

Good option for quick cabinet job
This has been a useful little kit. Be careful loosing the bit as it’s spring loaded. Tighten before use! So far so good!

Does not work as advertised
Bit falls apart because set screw is poorly installed at factory. Bit regularly clogs and binds during use. Resulting pin hole depth is too short with no way to adjust bit. Now I get to re-drill hundreds of holes due to this misleading and poorly built product leaving me with pins sticking out too far. Would return if I could.

Works perfectly, breaks easily
6/3/2024The jig and the self-centering spring loaded bit worked perfectly. But, after tapping nine holes for shelf pegs, the self-centering spring loaded bit broke internally so that the bit would not eject to tap a hole. I finished the job with a regular drill bit. I have contacted the manufacturer Milescraft for a replacement bit. I will update this post re Milescraft's response.6/11/2024 - Update: Today, I received a replacement bit from Milescraft at no cost for the bit or shipping.
