BEFORE YOU START HAVE ANOTHER PERSON HOLD THE STRING AT THE OPPOSITE END SO YOU DONT PULL IT ALL THE WAY OUT!The bow is really easy to assemble, I was following the directions, pulling the strings thinking, “wow this is easy! How could anyone mess this up”, as I had seen mixed reviews. Then it happened, BAM!! I pulled the strings all the way out leaving me with flat, lifeless ribbons. I was so angry I was going to just return the product and leave a bad review. But, it’s my little sister’s sixteenth birthday and I wanted her to have a special moment, so I was determined to figure it out. Lots of people comment on their strings “breaking”, I don’t think that’s the case, I think they also just pulled the strings all the way out. Here’s the fix for that. Organize you string and find two ends and line the up. Make a small knot at the top. Then use a safety pin, or even better an embroidery needle to weave the string through back to the end by the “happy birthday” part. Once you do that you need another person to help hold one side. Both people move away from eachother so the ribbons flatten out (as they will bunch up in the restring process. Lastly, have the other person hold the string at the “happy birthday” end so that you don’t make the same mistake. Start over and just pull the strings following the rest of the directions!! It seems daunting but it takes only about 10 minutes. It’s worth fixing to get that special bow!

This was perfect! Great size, great quality, perfect touch to the gift of a car we gave our daughter! Assembly was a bit tricky, we had two people to assemble, one slowly pulling the string & one holding the pleats of the bow, kinda feeding it so it wouldn’t get tangled up as we were popping up the bow but totally worth it when it was done!

The directions were terrible, hard to find the string to pull to start the process of making the bow & the string broke as soon as we started.Very disappointed we couldn't use the bow on my daughters new car for her sixteenth birthday!!! Too late to order another one!!!

I LOVE this bow! I was a little nervous to put it together after reading all of the reviews…as long as you read and follow the instructions it is super easy! The bow came together in seconds - I gently pulled the strings and once in a while gave them a little tug. It came together beautifully, and was a nice, full bow. It does say ‘Sweet Sixteen’ on the other ribbon, but my husband was in charge of putting the bow on the car, and he didn’t flip it over. Would definitely buy again if needed!

This bow was such a fun way to say Happy 16th Birthday. Please note the size, as the pictures are not accurate 🤣 It is much smaller than how they superimposed the bow onto the car image.

You can not just place the bow on the hood of the car they way its shown in the main picture. Unless you want to tape it, but who wants to put tape on a new car? You have to use the enclosed ribbon to tie it on the hood, which does not work that great or look that great. This bow comes in a long box and has to be assembled. So allow enough time and be careful! Mine almost fell apart when putting it together! Also as other reviewers have pointed out, the tails of the bow are bent - the "Happy birthday" and "sweet 16" are wrinkled and you can't straighten them. I had looked at other bows that came with a magnet and I wish I had bought one of those! I was trying to save money, but you get what you pay for.

Loved this. I took it to a friends house because when I took it out of the box, it looked like a project to put together. I was astonished when she just ‘pulled a string’ and it literally all just came together.

Just pull a string! Thats it! Very easy and perfect size for a car

For the price it's very good. However, there's an extra piece of ribbon that's not mentioned in the ad or shown in the instruction sheet so I'm not sure what it's for. Also, even though it might be fairly obvious, there are no instructions as to how one should attach the bow to a car; or safety warnings about, for example, attaching the bow to a hot engine hood.
