Just what I needed
I find that carving designs for fine and tiny areas on leather to be more difficult than it needs to be with the regular blade my swivel knife came with. When I saw they had these filigree blades for my swivel knife, I had to buy it. I'm glad I did. It works great to get in the fine details. The blade comes as pictured, covered. It's also already sharp. Enough so that its easy to carve too deep until you get the hang of it. It's high quality and a perfect addition to my leather working tools.

I was sent an old used blade
Should have been thrown in The trash. The blade is in such poor condition that there are areas where the black coating has been worn off and is incredibly dull, I could run my finger up and down the edge with no effect. The condition is so bad that, at this point, I would be better off to buy a new blade than take the time that would be needed to sharpen it just to make it usable again.
