The BIG Truck: Complete step-by-step instructions for building the wooden model

First, a disclaimer: I have not made this project. Second, look at the number of pages. This is all instructions for a single toy truck. Since I haven’t made the project, I don’t know how well these plans come together to make a truck but a quick reading through the book shows a well thought out and communicated plan. I am retired from a lifetime of working with wood and I have a very well equipped shop. I would still budget 250 hours or so to complete this project, but once completed you will have a unique item that is guaranteed to be a heirloom. Aren’t we all ultimately looking for some way to keep our memory alive?

Great book and a fun project to build. The instructions are clear and the photos will guide you step-by-step through the authors amazing creation and help you to make it your own. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes Woodworking. See more of my pictures on Instagram at nukebert.

A very hard Model to build .Being fairly new to building things in wood I found this model very technical with gears and cogs to make and a universal joint to make.But the admiration and wonderment from viewers once it is finished was worth it. It took me 3 months off 12 hour days to build it . The last month getting all the gogs and gears to run freely.
