Great Map
I purchased this as an additional map for the Superstitions and surrounding areas. This map fills in the gaps that a traditional hiking map doesn’t cover. I’ve found it very accurate. Recommended.

Great Map!
I haven't found many topo maps of the Superstitions including trails that I am happy with. This one is very good. It encompasses a larger area than I wanted, but is large enough I can see the details. It is also made of a durable material. I wouldn't call it paper. This allows folding and fits nicely in my back pocket once folded over. I break this map out when planning a hike in addition to the information from hikearizona.com.FYI - I use a cell phone GPS which often drops in the Superstitions due to lack of cell towers so this map is a great back up in case batteries die, GPS breaks, etc.

Decent but not as detailed as I hoped for
Not as detailed on the áreas it is supposed to be for, but overall, not a bad map. Be great for someone doing a road trip through the area more than for backpackers needing trail maps

Well done and durable
Living in the Phoenix area, my hiking nephew requested this as a Christmas gift. It is so worth it; up-to-date and detailed, this map is made to last. It is also suitable for framing!

Great map to keep in your pack
This is a detailed large map, somewhat water resistant. Good tool for being out where trails can get fuzzy.

A bit of sugar in life
It's plastic (or plasticized) so it's waterproof. It's color coding is so simple that a 3 year old could use it. It's complete. I have a new appreciation for National Geographic, just because of these maps. This lets me find my trail in a minute, and to change my path with confidence just as quickly. You should buy one just to support this amazing organization, National Geographic in their endeavor to produce these guides that just might not be here if they didn't. They let you go into the wild and see things you may have never known were there. Thanks National Geographic.

Not Exactly What I was Hoping For.
If you are a hiker, there are two things you absolutely need in a map. The first is a good detailed elevation profile. There is no substitute for a fine topographical map even in the GPS age. The second thing you need is mileages on trails between points. This map is a 5 star product on the first point. It is a one star product on the second. Lacking point to point mileage, it is essentially worthless. I was personally shocked when I noticed this. National Geographic usually puts out a better product. Of course, the map is GPS compatible and covers a wide area, so I will average the two ratings and give it three starts. But I was hoping for better.
