I would get 16 if that's what size you are. They are tight and if you carry more weight in your stomach then size up. It won't hurt they are tight

They contain spandex. The chart is correct and also annoying The 2xl will be a good fit for size 14. Size down to an XL if you are comfortable with a tighter fit. Either way they are tight, I have a size larger than my actual size and they still fit great.

I recommend you order a size up, because they run small. And some sizes sell better than others, that why the prices fluctuate.
